The 2024 Boston Red Sox have more wins than the Rays, Royals, White Sox, Angels, Astros, Athletics, Mariners, Braves, Marlins, Mets, Nationals, Phillies, Brewers, Cardinals, Cubs, Giants, and Rockies... COMBINED!!!
They have won 100% of their regular season games in 2024. Last loss was September 30th, 2023 (nearly 6 full months ago)!!! They have never even trailed in a game all season!
Just hand the Red Sox the World Series trophy already.

I've always associated Cruz with the Rangers, didn't expect him to retire a Mariner.
He ended with the Rangers on a sour note. Had a couple great years in Seattle. Helps that his buddies like felix also were Ms i guess
He played for so many teams actually (Orioles, Rangers, Mariners, Padres, Twins, Rays, Nationals, Brewers) that I'm surprised he'd even be associated with any one team, especially one that he only was with for a quarter of his entire career.
Was basically the best guy on the team with Mariners mult years and the fan base wanted him to stay, so not surprised at all.
@@ws8080 Didn't know they felt that way about him -- nice to see the feeling was mutual though. I'm guessing Rangers fans have conflicted feelings about him with the whole performance enhancers thing and the missed catch in the WS that would've won them a 'ship.

@righttime387 the Red Sox are terrible. You just seen the starter with the best stuff. The closer is fat and old, the defense is terrible, and the rest of the pitching staff hasn't made it a full season ever. Mostly banjo hitters and DHs with no where to play, even in left or 1st base.

Ty France and Mitch Garver were unlucky. They both could've gotten more hits if it had come off the bat a little differently.
IDK but couldn't this be said about every batted ball that isn't a home run or a hit?🤔
@@lanecobb4150 well a lot of grounders are obviously outs every time. Ty specifically focused on improving the quality of the contact he was already making. It seemed like it was coming off the bat pretty well, and Garver had some really strong contact but they were all outs except for Garver at the end.
Location+Defense = outs. Just slightly different location and they would've been hits or slightly worse defense too. I get what you mean though.

Noticed Red Sox had more energy and positive vibe than the M’s. Crawford showed bad body language for the rest of the game after his strikeout. Don’t know why late they didn’t hold the Sox runner on third more? He almost stole home and should have. Servais needs to wake up in those situations and let his pitcher know.

Mariners 3 mistake pitches away from being scoreless for their first 2 games of the season. Still showing the inability to hit, sacrifice, work walks or have productive ABs with RSIP. The offense is still a strikeout machine and doesn’t look any different than last season and will be bottom 5 in every metric once again this season. It’s literally going to take shutout performances from their pitchers nearly every outing for them to win enough games to look like legit contenders, which is simply unrealistic. I don’t see Seattle even being a WC team again this season, and unless they overhaul the front office management, I’d bet everything that it will be another 20+ year playoff drought in the making for them.

They're basically playing 3rd base on a rotating schedule lol. It'll be Urias and Rojas. Anderson is nearing the end (although a surprisingly good contact hitter). They're waiting on Cole Young and Tyler Locklear in AAA Tacoma to be the new 3B and 1B for the future.
