I would push back a bit against your point about "you can't have an unbiased opinion about a balisong you got sent for free". I think Blade Bias put it best by saying something along the lines of if I pay money for a balisong I might actually be more bias to try to justify my purchase rather than if I had just been sent it for free I might be able to judge it more objectively since I don't have any skin in the game. I 100% agree that if you receive a direct sponsorship then I'm definitely not trusting your opinion but I believe being sent things for free with the company asking for nothing in return can still be plenty if not more unbiased

personal opinion here- if your a handle fiend its probably not going to be that good for you i found it felt kinda sloppy due to me loving my handle end weight but if your a neutral fiend its the best for the buck IMO

This is the best tutorial of the choker fan I've watched so far. No other tutorial said to let the momentum carry, they all just said to twist with your fingers and i never really quite got it until i watched this. I can finally do one of my favorite tricks!

This is a bit out of touch imo, live blades are so much more fun to flip, you act as though its a 40 cal magnum handgun, when people get "hurt" from live blades it looks like a slightly worse papercut and heals within the week, my 9 year old sister has had a live blade bali for months and has yet to cut herself (granted she knows only 2 tricks), people learn responsibility by taking responsibility, i dont think anyone should shy away from live blades even if you've never touched a knife, as long as they aren't homicidal or violent.

i might just get one tbh I started with a cheap non-branded oil spilled live blade bali from a local mall i think it was like $12 at the time when i was around 14-15 with my family's advisory played around with it cut myself countless times but then i stopped and forgot about the whole hobby, I started playing TF2 recently again which got me into loving butterfly knives because of the spy from the game now im 23 yo and thinking of getting back to it but with a proper bali. The only problem is that my hands gets sweaty almost instantly 😂

I turned 48 yesterday and I live in a tough area and I now carry my balisong everyday for self defense. So I have gone back to the basics, deployment, trnsition, closing... Could you please show me the quickest deployment for an advantage over someone trying to do you harm? and any time you dedicate to transitions is time well spent my friend.

Sounding a bit gate keepy my guy. You're not special because your know how to sharpen your blades, nor do people need to study the art of owning a knife to own one lmao. Nothing will prepare you for a live blade imo, their balanced different, the anxiety flipping it isn't real until you start flipping it. We can all agree that knives are dangerous, I think the only point of this pointless video should've been to re-iterate how dangerous live blades are to flip. Their dangerous AF, anybody can make a mistake, whether it be through repetition or just being a novice; shit can send you to the ER right quick.
