I love her SOOO much!!! Her face mold is not the first Barbie had, but it is the one used in the 80's and most of the 90's. Its my favorite Barbie face because is the one I grew up with and the prettiest one she's had, in my opinion. Thank you so much for the video, Mario. I can't wait for mine! 💖

Yes it is the Superstar face mold. It's not one of the first molds, but it was a face that Barbie kept for a couple of decades dating back to late 70s thru the late 90s. Which is what makes it so iconic.
It's one of my favorite molds 😃 because she has this big cute dimply smile and cute button nose.
I want to buy her, but I'm afraid she'll be alive when I'm not around 😂

@Random Shark Vlogs I'm also a boy and I love dolls. Barbies aren't just for girls. You can just tell your parents that she's from Toy Story and I think they will allow you to get her. Or if you have the money, just go to a store and get her. Don't let anyone tell you you can't enjoy something you like.

I had this exact Barbie back when I was a kid! I cannot remember the exact year but I am 46 now so I am thinking around 1983? She had the same teal blue leotard and striped leg warmers, but I don’t recall her having bangs and I think her belt was just a pink elastic band or scarf that you tied. Also, pretty sure her shoes were white.
Great Shape Barbie is what you’re thinking about. She was an 80’s doll and was modeled after her workout routine. Hence the blue jumpsuit, leg warmers, and her bag with a water bottle.
i always wanted a toy story barbie because i love dolls dressed in 1980’s inspired outfits and she’s also wearing my favourite colour which is a bonus,she was on offer on amazon uk so i purchased her today😱

I know this review is a bit old. Thank you for making this detailed review on the Toy Story 4 Barbie. As myself who started collecting Barbie this year 2021. This review made me want to get her because I thought she was so cute! Other reviews just rush the review. I understand she's basic, but your goes more into depth with the doll. I just ordered her!

At first I felt wronged by the sneakers replacing the high heels from Toy Story 3, but now I think they had nothing to do with her work out outfit in that first place.
It could be assumed that Molly has been playing with her Barbies and changing their clothes and shoes over the years., so by the time the whole TS3 take place, Barbie was left with the high heels (since she hadn't been played with for a long time).
You’re right, it is the Superstar face mold and I think that was the 3rd face sculpt released for Barbie 💕.

She's beautiful. I can't wait to get her (in 2-3 copies :-)) I've never watched any "Toy Story" movie, but I love the 'Supestar' Barbie face mold, so...
And in this case her skin tone seems to match recent Barbie dolls, including "Made to Move" Barbies. Which means that the prettiest Barbie face can be put on the most articulated Barbie body ever :-) (I hope so!)

It’s a Superstar face mold. One of the really popular face molds from the very late 70s through the 80s. This is the face that I remember on Barbie when I was a kid (I was born in 1992). It looks like she’s on a variation of the pivotal body or the bodies they use for the life in the dream house dolls. The outfit is a variation of the 1983 Great Shape Barbie. The best is different. The shoes are different. And the 1983 doll didn’t have a ponytail. I love this new doll. I will definitely be preordering her. Are you going to get the Bo Peep doll from TS4?
I finally found the trailer for Toy Story 4 that features Barbie, paused it and was disappointed to see Barbie is wearing heels in the movie. I know that it's a small thing but I wish they'd made her movie accurate, but I get why they gave the doll sneakers.
The doll isn't a collector doll and aimed at children and the heels would be easily lost.
I wish Ken had made an appearance too.
I think you're right that Barbie doesn't have a big part as in the scene Barbie is in Bo is still in Bonnie's room, so it must be a flashback.
I hope they make dolls of Gabby Gabby and her henchmen!! lol

Sam A Thank you so much :) The clip you saw is a from a flashback scene so there is still a chance on present day that she is wearing sneakers, we shall see! Hopefully she is and it’s movie accurate! I honestly might just get some pink heels on eBay to have a different one as I pre ordered two as well lol btw I did hear of a fashion set coming out so hopefully they do the other girls too!!!

DollElectrique right, they were movie accurate for toy story 3, we will see what she is wearing in 4. However it’s easy to buy pink heels, I’m doing that for one of the dolls lol I need another ASAP

Looks like she has more eyeliner then in the movie. They should have used paler shade of pink for eyeshadow... Also center front seam on the outfit kinda spoils the look... Still, way more accurate than 2010 one!

It's so weird how empty her box is. The doll looks just fine and the box looks great but its so weird.
I am happy that this doll has articulation and the outfit isn't the shiny material from the earlier doll made for Toy Story 3. Many people complained it would wear and tear easily. Also, the face is an improvement and much more accurate to the doll and character.

Who made this doll? I'm guessing Mattel obviously but I'm not seeing the Mattel logo anywhere on the box which is weird since they usually plaster it on every side. Thinkway is the owner of the Toy Story toy license and Hasbro has the Disney doll license so where does Mattel fit in to that?
FinalFantasyFan92 it is weird the Mattel logo is not there, the Barbie logo is in the back so I guess they went with that. Mattel has the license for some Disney properties still, Toy Story is one of them, they did a Bo peep doll and tons of figurines and random toys. I don’t think thinkway has the license exclusively to them, toy story seems to be shared with both Mattel and thinkway. After all Barbie shows up in toy story so I’m sure Mattel was like “hey we gotta get in on the merch” lol

Heels are less practical for working out. That and this isn’t a collector’s toy, she’s meant to be played with by children and the heels would be the first thing lost.

Do they come alive?
I hate the one thing that no one talks about is the fact that Toy Guide Barbie & Toy Story 3 Barbie are in fact the same character! First off, they are both voiced by Jodi Benson. Second, Tour Guide is not present in the 3rd, whereas 3 introduced the regular. Third, take aa look at the makeup, hair, color scheme, eyes, ears not pierced, just to name the basics! Lastly, it would make a lot of sense of Andy giving Molly Tour guide and the 3 Sparkle Dress dolls. This is no theory, just facts....
Nadeedoo I understand the confusion but they are not the same character. Jodi Bendon voiced all the barbies in toy story 2. She is the voice of Barbie in general. So Jodi played all the barbies that briefly speak in toy story 2 plus Tour Guide Barbie. In toy story 3 she voices the “great shape” Barbie which is the one who is now a part of the toy story franchise.

She exists a is alive for me in every way we just watched toy story three together she saw her with Ken she hates it she keeps knodding no everyone's been alive scince 2019 and I only tell the truth I make up nothing she's looking up at me right now she's even better than our women in bed to she has alot of heart a personality just like in the movie but out here to I she always knows it's me when I look at her and her reaction to seeing herself on tv was stunning I used witchcraft good way but I was met half way by the pledians above all videos pics and dolls a plushies exist a live for me and it's incredible I wanna share the joy but they don't want everyone knowing yet I have pics of everyone and when I get close the eyes very important to see the eyes like really look they hate being stuck in boxes mine loves me cause I let her move on her own and they very much are like real people but shy at first on there movements it's taken me two years but I see now it really is them not demons our ghosts that crap is if bad magic is used light love a hope will get u this result here like in the movie it's fact I did it I'm lovein it a livein it it's not just barbie ignore scary games they are my family they would never hurt anyone lived with me two years never had a issue it's if ur bad a try to use them to spread fear they hate it
I agree, the Toy Story 4 versions of Barbie looks the most canon.
