I was using the launcher and shotgun for a while than switched out the launcher for the plasma rifle (my 8 year old wanted to play). Would like to see elite combat zones and npc's jetpacking, would definitely make combat zones more interesting, just now i run about like a headless chicken smashing npc's with the shotgun. This is my boomstick
Without Frontline, I had no idea that I just went into a high intensity conflict. After a few straight victories from other settlement fights, I thought I could take them on. Nope! I was like an ant under a boot.
ive been havin a blast doin the ground fighting at the settlements too... its nice to be able to get out of our ships and stretch our legs lol i likw using the exterminator semi automatic long range rifle with the automatic rifle this guy is using as well.. for my secondary i keep the laser pistol handy cause it tears up enemy shielding quickly... cant remember when i am playing tho what the toss grednade button is... and i just discovered pressing Q brings up the wheel menu so u can access ur backpack and recall and dismiss ur ship. there are alot of keyboard and mouse settings i have to perfect to my liking tho but im getting there ... ive had the game for two yrs and never played it until a few weeks ago when oddessy as released. im now flying with a keelback loaded with 2 rovers and fighters and im supporting 3 crew. its been a pretty tough learning curve but im doin okay i think.... 3 weeks in ive got 9 ships an 33 mil in the bank. i do plenty of exploring and when i find a system with a civil war... ive yet to get in a fighter vs fighter in space fight yet other than the tutorial but ill get on that as ive been pretty good in all other fighter games ive played for 20 plus yrs.... just wanna build the bank up a bit cause ill be payin out the ass for insurance when i finally begin to take that part of this game on.... thanks for the upload :)
@@Yaga-Shura yea dam that's nice I just got a random lvl 3 maverick suite at gromov orbital it was blue with two slot only one had in a perk it cost like 11m
Looks cool, but I cannot stand the gameplay design of weapon switching. More proof they just don't have sim aspects in mind when designing ED. What kind of soldier would have to consistently switch their weapon in the middle of a firefight
I agree. While they don't need to go full hardcore sim, they need to lean heavily in that direction from where it's currently at. Removing shields would go a long way for instance.
It reminds me of borderlands 2 on UVHM with it's forced use of slag weapons + you need to swap between shock and fire/corrosive/explosive weapons as well, otherwise you deal peanut damage

i wish logging out and back in would still spawn you there.
Damn you’re dominating
dang I’m going to have to use that loadout, your good with it
Love it. Seems like a fun loadout!
It's effective. Fun for a while, but it's very repetitive.
@@Yaga-Shura Did u upgrade the weapons or are they still stock?
@@kevinpittman2517 All are grade 5 fully engineered.
That pill you were taking on the day you filmed this: I am pretty sure it's illegal in most jurisdications.
No pill, just coffee ;)
Ground NPCs should move between covers and use jetpacks as well. Now they're just glorified target dummies
What's your PC spec?
How u doing so much damage are those weapons 5 are 1
I'm assuming that you're asking about weapon grades, they are all 5.

Are those enemies bots ?
Yeah this is pure PVE
as a arma 3 player I can say: elite dangerous fps combat managed to be more pathetic than ships combat in every aspect, glad I didn't buy odyssey '-'
what does you being a arma 3 player have to do with anything lol.
Squad is better than arma 3 btw
