Pastor Brett, thank you for the teaching of the three relationships of Holy Spirit (with, in, upon). I have never heard this explained before, but it helps me understand better something that happened to me many years ago. I was praying on a Christmas morning, and saying that while I knew Dec 25th was not the day the Savior was born, I was thankful that we had the day to celebrate His birth. At that moment, something happened that was “different”, intense even. After I finished praying and completed the task I had been doing, I had something happen that I will never forget, and I felt like it was a blessing over me. Could it have been the “upon” me dwelling of the Holy Spirit? It seems so, because it definitely drew me to desire a deeper understanding of scripture. Some of my believing friends that I have heard my story, have tried to convince me that it was not of Christ, but I reject that. Let’s be honest, most Christians believe in The Holy Spirit, up to the point with and in, but balk at the upon. Thanks again.

If you’re a believer in Jesus Christ, He tells us about a half dozen times in the New Testament to not be afraid, anxious, fretful. I know it’s easier said than done, but there’s nothing in the believers life that we can’t handle. But you’re definitely on the right track, having the mind to go to prayer ! One of the biggest benefits of salvation is that when we are in a sanctifying relationship with Christ, our burdens ought be cast upon Him. Christ is always near, He is always with you. Pastor Gary Hamrick has a great quote… “Worry does not empty tomorrow of it’s sorrow, it empties today if it’s strength.” Here are some uplifting verses about fear, anxiety, and worry… - Luke 12:25 “And which of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life’s span ?” - Philippians 4:6-7 says… “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” - Isaiah 41:10 ‘Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” - Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” - Matthew 6:34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Not a man but if you have repented (turned away from sinful ways) and understand Jesus was tortured before being nailed to the cross for mine and your sins,ask for the gift of the Holy Spirit whatever 😊happens in court Jesus will use you in or out of prison.He has a plan for your life and once you surrender your heart soul mind and strength and trust Him do not fear what man can do. 🙏

Is there any man that can pray with me. I have court tomorrow and I'm scared to death. I could go to jail. And I won't survive in prison.
