I bought the very first version of this R2-D2 with the metal dome. The remote control rarely ever worked. The dome was the only metal part. The rest of it was cheap plastic. When are we going to get a fully metal, high quality R2-D2? Tamashi Nations almost did it except the dome was plastic but it was an amazing piece with reliable electronics. I know it would be expensive but a fully metal version of this R2-D2 is well overdue.
Got this and C3-PO on order can't wait to get my hands on them 😁
Very awesome, they'll look great together!! Thanks for watching!
@@CollectSideshow I'm sure they will 😁
Dear Santa…. toys have become more entertaining than most shows of today
Wow. This is stunning. As a kid in the 70s when I first experienced Star Wars I immediately fell in love with R2. He's never looked better!
Hot Toys did R2-D2 justice with this figure! As you said, it really is a stunning piece! Thanks for watching :)
Is the dome die-cast?
This figure makes me smile
WOW!
Oh my goodness Sideshow, GREAT JOB 👏 ✨😳😃😃😃😃🙌🏾💯🤓
Never underestimate a droid
That's awesome R2 is my favorite character

😍😍😍
Nice figure! Really wish the bottom wasn’t so dirty yellow. I mean I get what they were going for, but it really limits posing scenes
Seems to perfect except no Kenny Baker figure inside the unit.
Madre mía, que guapo está.
Take good care of it. It took many Chinese grandmas hours to paint these Hot Toy figures!
And?
Tell her she did an amazing job!! ;)
Demasiado hermosoo❤
Is it metal build?
The dome is die-cast.
