Waited 4 months for this trip and finally could visit Lombok for the first time in October 2021,
when the crowd haven`t arrived yet. Come with me surfing and exploring empty beaches.

Last week we visited Lombok and all beach are still beautiful, natural, white sand and not crowded.

Much too late for that I'm afraid. (Protecting the natural beauty?) For example the exact same area where she is filming and surfing - they have built a giant international motor-racing track to attract... you guessed it... international motor racing events... motorcycles, and motorcycle fans... I dunno maybe eventually some ELECTRIC MOTORBIKES may come there to race? But... they would not invest all those Rupiahs in that unless they were pretty certain lots of motor heads from all over the world will come there to attend races, and bring tons of tourism cash... It IS gonna happen. Lombok will NEVER be the same. ( for further info on that search < Mandalika Lombok > Turning paradise over to motor-heads. 'Money doesn't talk... it swears.'
Everything that is used as a tourist spot will surely be destroyed, let alone low-cost tourism
So beautiful, it would be better being there with you, surfing and enjoying the place

Hi, hmmm duno I was on the beach you had to yourself in may 2015, nice spot there, all the surfers were just hanging around the Maui break main beach. But yeah Maui is shallow and gets rouge sets and I didn't spent long there but it wasn't very enticing. Gerupuk is super fun area and outside lefts and inside rights are good. Looks like a fun time!

Lombok is best if you want a relaxing stay with plenty of pristine nature, but Bali is best if you want top-quality hotels, easy travel, and vibrant bars and clubs.
Hi! What is the name of the accommodation you stayed in? It looks perfect!
If you go on vacation to Indonesia, each region has several different cultures and traditions, different from regional languages and regional specialties
In Indonesia, there are Bali, Lombok, Komodo Island, Raja Ampat Papua, the Thousand Islands Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Borobudur and Prambanan temples, and Bromo in mountainous areas.
Riau is close to Singapore, Aceh, Sulawesi, Kalimantan, there are orangutans
If you go to Indonesia, don't forget the food, but be careful, Indonesian food is spicy..
Try surf in mentawai,telo, and banyak islands around sumatera,,i think you're gonna love it or rote and sumba island in east nusa tenggara. I do think If you are into "serious" surfing, southern part of indonesia is the only choice in southeast asia apparently since it gets most consistent swell along the indian ocean, you still can catch nice waves in the pacific side of indonesia in morotai, biak or other parts of north papua island just not as consistent, nice vlog btw, keep it up

Recently bought land on Lombok near one of the beaches you visited. Hope to build a villa. Never been in Lombok while we (as a fam) love Bali. Great video, love the vibe. Apparently Bali is passe for many Indonesians, now choosing Lombok (and other islands). The fact that Lombok Muslim will surely be a factor but e.g. as well the MOTOGP (motorcycle) yearly event on Lombok plays a role (Indonesians are the biggest fans of GP worldwide). By the way they build a Formula 1 circuit close to the beaches you visited, hoping to lure F1 to Lombok. Doesn't really match expectations for such a remote island, does it?
Omg is that true ? Even F1? That is sad news…I hope Lombok wont turn into the next circus show, like Bali is.. Lombok has still the soul. I dont think its an issue that is a muslim island, but needs some understanding of the culture. :-) I felt so welcomed in the muslim areas of Indo. Good luck with your villa and your plans :-)

Lombok is a bit quiet because of the limited roads to tourist attractions

Visit the Philippines pls. Lots of world class beaches and surfing places there like Siargao. Filipinos are very welcoming and friendly people so you’ll not be having problem in there. Stay safe and healthy swthrt. God bless u always😘🇺🇸

Actually, if I'm honest, there are still a lot of amazing natural scenery in various angles. It will not be enough if you go around here in just one day.👍🏻🙏🏻👌🏻👏🇮🇩
I spent more than a month in Lombok not just a few days. And of course there is a lot more to see. But I am a surfer and i am more for exploring the beaches ☺️

Hey are you still in Bali. Surf in Canggu this morning then motorbike to Bukit. Crazy drive. Great guide vlog as i'm going with friends at Lombok in a week. Do you think it's cheaper to take a ferry to Lomboc?
Is super easy to get to Lombok with the ferry, definitely cheap as well.I am still in Indo yes :-)
