New and subscribed! I've been practicing searches for flights from USA to HND and Osaka. Want to travel end of May 2025, but will need 8 tickets... I was dying when you said "so if you have a family of 9" we'll actually eventually book a 9th seat for a baby we don't know name and birthrate yet. It'll be go time for the real booking before I know it. P2 and I each have a bit over 500k MR, thinking about transferring enough for one way on VA speculatively before transfer bonus ends. Are VA rewards refundable or do you recommend a different option? Thinking we'll book econ or pe but would like option to rebook last minute if there happens to be a lot of biz availability next year last minute. BA (high taxes), Avianca, and delta are my other top options it seems.
thank you so much for subscribing! VA rewards can't be moved back to Amex/ Chase/ etc. but if you change your flight, they can be redeposited back into your VA account for a future flight.
Try this with the VS website when the airport code doesn’t auto-complete. Just type in the code and click the x to close the window. Did it work? It used to at least. The website does look different these days though. Thanks for another helpful video!
I was lucky enough to get that 30% transfer bonus using capital one miles in April about two months ago. California to Haneda, then Narita back to California for less than 70,000 miles and about $500 in taxes, Ana business class.
Great video. I'm confused. The ANA flight showed as 110,000 points How did you get it down to 45,000? Was there a discrepancy between the Seats.aero results and the actual points chart?
Since it takes AX days to transfer miles, can you transfer the points now and let them sit in the Virgin Atlantic site until you find a flight. When you find a flight they will already be there. Is that doable?
Technically yes, but I don't recommend moving points speculatively because of devaluation. Like yesterday, Virgin Atlantic just increased the price of that Japan route without warning 😭
same process as shown in this video, where you search on United first and then call VA to confirm you can book it through them. we can also provide you with personalized step-by-step tutorials in the Patreon: www.patreon.com/geobreezetravel

I have over 600,000 in United miles. They were accrued before I found points and miles. I want to get my family to Australia. Is the only way to use on United $250000 one way?
are you flexible on dates? if you're flexible on dates and positioning airports, you can maybe find saver space that way, but it's still going to be 90k+
No, Delta just sucks at releasing award seats to their partners, especially international. Just have to be really flexible and look way ahead or very last minute.
That's Richard Branson's Virgin! He also sends people to space. I bought shares of Virgin Galactic, but their value has dropped significantly. Do you think these shares will ever rise like Bitcoin? Haha😂😂😂😂😂😂

that's an incredible win! Have you already taken the flight? How was the experience?

110k United points. She booked it via Virgin Atlantic which charges a different number of points.
@eval2136 explains it well!
Whelp J deval for ANA J via VS came in yesterday. 52.5k west coast, 60k east coast per J leg now.
i know... *cries* these devaulations seem to come out of nowhere with no warning these days

Seats dot aero hasn’t gotten any new updates for 11 days. Do you know what’s going on?
it's usually something on the airline's site side. hopefully they can get it updated again with accurate results shortly
@@geobreezetravel it’s finally working!

Video is scripted
DL availability is terrible.
@@shadowblade232 I think you’re right. I find availability in October but couldn’t find it all summer.
are you searching for specific dates or just general availability?
@@geobreezetravel yes

oh, I'm such the wrong person to ask hahaha. I just invest in index funds b/c I'm too lazy to track individual stocks.
