Great video but I need to point something out about the A321 Business Class redemption from DFW to MIA. The flight you picked was on an A321neo not the A321T so it is not the configuration they are talking about in the Award Wallet article. The 3 cabin A321T only flies transcontinental (JFK-LAX, JFK-SNA, etc) so the award flight from DFW to MIA would be in a standard A321 with the domestic first class interior, not lie flat seats. The list mentioned in the award wallet article is for the A321T plus domestic Widebody planes (777/787). You can get lie flat seats from DFW to MIA, but it would be on the 777 or 787, not the A321. Sorry to AV Geek out on you, but I would hate for somebody to book that flight thinking they were getting a lie flat and wind up with standard domestic first class.
Great video 🎉 we need this book TWO one way trips to South Africa . Flights will open about October 2024, for our2025 African safari WE would like to travel in business or first class We also prefer no more than 1 stop , with layover 6 hours or less. 5:50 We need to travel from east coast to JNB, our return will be from CPT to east coast. Home airport is ROC Thanks
Hi Maeve, can you post (or re-post) the route and dates you need in the Patreon? You're an annual member, so it will get prioritized in our to-do list.
Yes! Here's a tutorial for Mint for LAX-NAS, but the same logic would apply for LAX-JFK or other transcon routes: ua-cam.com/video/tNAKnrwq-Fc/v-deo.html
why when I go to avios does it say that I just joined British Air and the partnership is ONEWORLD not avios. My guess is avios is really the name of BA's points program and the real airline group is ONEWORLD.
Avios is the name of the BA points currency (also the currency for Iberia, Qatar, Finnair, and AerLingus) and British Airways is part of the Oneworld alliance (along with American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Japan Airlines, etc.)
I’m trying to book a flight to hawaii thru qatar. The availability shows on qatar for 1 passenger but when i put 4 passenger, it tells me that it’s “not available for the next 30 days, to continue please select ‘pay now’, hold my booking or cash + avios.” If i hit complete booking, it just keeps on loading and nothing happens. Any idea how to go about with this? I checked it on alaska and it’s still available with 9 seats
They may have more award space available to Alaska than Qatar for this case unfortunately. If you're looking for a personalized award search tutorial for this, we can prepare one for you through this link: go.geobreezetravel.com/ast-form
for seats.aero? yes, that's correct. I get a lot of use out of the $10 per month. Here's a link if you're interested in trying out Pro: www.geobreezetravel.com/seatsaero
you can't move the points directly to JAL, but you can book JAL flights through the Avios programs as long as you find the award availability. We can also help you find this award availability through this form if you're planning a specific trip: go.geobreezetravel.com/ast-form
Thanks! I've been told I also pronounce Qatar wrong (it's like "cutter"?) and I catch myself pronouncing "advertisement" wrong if I'm not paying attention. We have an episode on Air France coming up soon and that's going to be borderline hilarious listening to me butcher French pronunciations haha
@@geobreezetravel omg. I cannot do French for the life of me. From my understanding, it’s both pronunciations of Qatar. One is the Arabic way and the other is the English.- like when we say MeXico and in Spanish it’s said “Mejico.”
I too fly AA from DFW and have flown direct to Hawaii using BA Avios. In order to see available flights on BA, you need to find saver award space. You can do that by using the calendar feature on AA. I searched BA just now and found space for October 8, 2024 for 20,750 Avios and $5.60. Hope this helps
it might be due to the specific dates you're searching. if you have flexibility on the dates, that can help. we can also help provide you with personalized step-by-step tutorials and group coaching through the Patreon: www.patreon.com/geobreezetravel
I think you would get a lot more followers if you change your camera and audio quality. It’s really hard to listen in the car when the audio quality is terrible on the podcast… but your content Is fantastic
Not always. If you want to book cheap Iberia flights to Spain, look for the flights on Iberia. That 34k pp ow price is going to be better than with any partner airlines.
First time coming across your channel and it starts with nonsense. 0:55 you don't save your clients $30,000 by using their points instead of cash. Be responsible Points have a cost! Do you really need to mislead people to run your business???
@@luannehorne697 you sure? I traveled in first class on Emirates, Qantas, Singapore and British Airways in the last year. All on points. Maybe you have something to learn

@@luannehorne697 or maybe it's you who has no Idea? I spent over 400000 points and miles on premium international flights in the last 2 years. The points aren't free.
Ok first of all -- you spent 200k miles on first class last year. Please tell me that wasn't for one flight. If it was, please subscribe for more points and miles tips each week because you can definitely get more out of those points. Second, it's not "free" even with points. If you normally get $30K per year with travel (with or without points) and then we help you stretch those points out to $60K with the exact same bucket of points, then $60K - $30K = $30K. That opportunity cost of not maximizing your points is $30,000. The aim is not to get people from $30K of travel costs to $0. It's more like getting clients $60K of travel for the same amount of points they used to only save $30K on their own. Because 60,000 minus 30,000 equals 30,000. Does that math make sense?
Great tips and tricks! Also, seats.aero is not reliable specially with Alaska’s Qatar flights. None are accurate for 70k points. Do they even verify? I find other tools much much better/reliable finding award flights.
@@CC-sp2xo PointsYeah and Award Tool sites are fast and reliable. seats.aero may not be accurate as the results are cached but definitely not accurate for Qatar flights thru Alaska.
thank you! I've definitely been led astray from results that were cached and then it turns out the award availability wasn't there anymore (or never was)
In the fin air example you would just purchase the points from them if you don’t have enough to transfer from your credit cards?
