Replace John Deere Lawn Tractor Seat with Beautiful Comfy AfterMarket High Back

The original seat on the JD LT180 decayed away in the weather. Replaced it with this very comfortable Milsco XB180 high back I found on eBay for around $120. The form factor for the operator presence switch has changed over the years, so I also had to purchase a new one of those for $12.
With the way John Deere has gouged customers over the years for parts (IMO), I don't even bother to check their prices any more unless I have no choice.

Followed your lead and because of this video - I now have a new seat on my John Deere LT 180 riding mower. You were correct the higher seat was a great added touch. I heated off the old JD sticker on the back of the trash seat and put it on the new one, looks perfect, thanks for taking the time to put this video together it was a huge help.....

I agree, this video doesn't show any seat "replacement" info. It only shows how to replace the switch.

got a seat from the same company, the seat on my JD was slightly different than yours ..99 model year but they had it in stock, only difference was no JD sticker on the back of the seat ,,i can live without the sticker and save around a hundred over dealer prices
