It would be interesting to do before and after with paint depth meter.
he has, a few videos back. explained what machine/pad does and how much clear it removes
I know rigth
How much is a depth meter like this ?
Anybody knows ?
@@moisesjuarez5706Elcometer is around $800
Yeah would be nice to see the difference on each car. He goes into so much detail about the various paints, it’d be cool to see the effects on each paint when he’s done.
I'd love to see the NSX done next. Don't see to many getting around
As someone who was around when GNs were (nearly) new and still available and reasonable on the used market (yes, there actually was a time this was true), they were notorious for their terrible paint. It was rare to find a GN, even low mileage ones, that hadn't had a re-spray and this was when they were less than a decade old. Oh, you took care good care and only washed by hand? It's still scratched and swirled to hell. You live in a sunny climate? It's faded to death. That's how every one was, even when they were nearly new. Great job on this one.
GM in the 80's as a whole sucked. I had Camaros with the same issues. GM paint sucked!
So many major automotive UA-cam channels have been featuring the Grand National lately, good to see it getting so much attention
Hella excited for the NSX! Where my Acura fans at? ☝🏾
Larry, I love this channel, I'm a valeter (detailer) in England, have been for 25 years. I love your presenting style and your attitude keep on keeping on my friend!!
Thanks Michael!
Thank you for Comments: interestingly, always nice “other Country “ , etc., viewpoints………..
Larry what temperature do you run the pressure washer at
You've gotta detail all 3 of those cars over a few months. But do the NSX 1st.
Love the channel.
Man, this is so timely. I just did an Explorer that was HAMMERED with water spots on the passenger side. Was able to get it glossier, but it needed wet sanding to knock out the etching. Glad you didn’t have to sand the GNX, Larry!
Yes, waiting for my neighbor to say go for it. 2018 Black Metallic Audi A4 he has let the sprinklers have their way. Fingers crossed. Last time I washed it I did a quick test spot. Seemingly don't have to wet sand.
NSX for sure.
NSX over the other 2 any day.
Good job on the GNX like always!
Great video Larry! Love to see all three but I’m partial to the NSX.
NSX is my vote!!
Beautiful Grand National! Nicely done. Would love to see that Acura NSX done!
Honestly want them all to be cleaned but the nsx is goals great job as always Larry 👏🏽
Ever since I was a kid, I wanted the first generation NSX. Still to this day, I find them very attractive
Really liked the shots of you rolling the highway with the green in the background . That car came out super purdy. Of course we want to see them all, but the NSX. That's a unique cool color.
Why choose just one, let's get videos of all 3! Great work Larry.
Your videos are second to none, Larry. I know I'm always in for a great time. As for what's next? I'd say NSX or Super America. Probably leaning Ferrari since he said it's never been detailed! Keep up the great work.
The NSX would be sick to see the transformation! definitely would watch that video! Love the content.
I always find it satisfying cleaning door jams etc, that get neglected for years. Makes a huge difference to how clean the car feels when you open the door to step in
Please do more barnfind first wash videos!

Hey Larry,
I am interested in ATA 300 series, but couldn’t locate the link. Where could I locate that?
I would like the NSX please
I’d be happy to see the vette
What headphones do you use, Larry? I can't hear my podcast over my polisher. Thanks
Another video where I learned something! Car looks brand new and the fact that you did that with a 1 step polish, WOW! Great job Larry!
The used pad trick is one I’ve been implementing for years. I feel like once it’s “broken in,” the individual fibers are more pliable and separate a bit more to create a more loose and “softer” surface that allows for more even distribution of a polish. Great work on the GNX, this thing is a gem!
I would love to see the nsx. Thanks as always larry. Thoroughly enjoy you working your magic. And just your presence in every video. Big fan from the UK here 👍
man that paint is a wonder! like a real glass, and yeah the car is stunning too compared to some modern ones. amazing, just amazing
Greetings from Ramstein Air Base, Larry! I miss being able to detail vehicles for friends and select businesses back in the US (can’t wash cars in your driveway over here). But I keep up with all of the latest from your channel. My vote for the next vehicle is the NSX. This was the car that sent the folks from Ferrari and Lamborghini back to the drawing board. An exotic that one could drive without worry of failure or breakdown. Keep up the tremendous work! You have fans over here!
There is just something so satisfying about watching a master craftsman at work. Is there anything that looks better than a non-metallic black polished to perfection?
You know what that is? That’s poop. 😂 You made my morning with that comment. I was feeling a bit down but watching this lifted my spirits. Love the car and your vids brother!
The GNX has always been a favorite of mine and you made that paint look 10 miles deep. I think Dominic is going to keep you busy Larry!
All three Larry, we want to see all three... I know your algorithm probably says otherwise, but I miss the longer episodes. 30mins of content would be unreal, but loving it regardless!
One of my favorite videos! Always fun to have jokes put in! Great before and after! Keep up the good work Larry!!!
Knocked a another one out of the park good work and that man has a collection of cars that if you will stop to think and dream of a car he has it and more and awesome work God bless.
What an old rocket from my youth, such a great result Larry. Off the hook as usual Larry. Kudos brother
That cleaned up nice Larry! Love the GNX. Spool and drool. The GNX also got a much nicer gauge cluster. I had a new T-Type Regal that needed a couple of panels repainted while under warranty. The assembly line paint robots were pretty new technology back then and were pretty stingy with paint coverage.
Love both these super cars and the barn finds in very different ways they are so good ❤
I really really wish you would go over and show us more of the polishing. Just being able to see how you move, how many passes, the speed in which you move, especially on this super soft paint.+1 on putting a paint depth gauge on it after as others have suggested. Good video!
Do the nsx please 🙏🏻
The heart wants to see the Superamerica, but the Corvette would probably be the most interesting from a technical perspective with the oldest paint and just the way they were built back then.
Every time I watch one of these videos, I learn something. Beautiful car.
One of my top 5 favorites. Absolutely gorgeous car. Great design and with so few remaining, it drops me in awe. I've only seen them two times. Both in Arizona. And it was amazing, nice but not nearly this nice. That car wasn't even driven. Was towed on a flat bed back to its mountian mansion view
Your work on these classics are next level Larry always going the extra mile the GNX came out beautiful
Would love to see the Corvette, as I have a 77 Corvette, that i acquired recently. This GNx turned out wonderful, very cool car.
This one hits home, looking at mine watching this video waiting for a built engine. But I drive mine a lot. Keep them coming. 🎉
Whichever car you do next, I'll watch and enjoy watching. Thank you,
70s Corvette is my dream car I would love to see that on the channel
I'd love to see that Corvette detailed! Love the color.
I'm pretty sure I know this exact car and have sat in it. My dad's friend was the original owner and sold it around '01 with just 1826 miles on it, and considering it was known on forum back then as the lowest mile GNX on the east coast, located in NJ, and Larry's shop not too far away from that geographic location, it's very possible. He passed away a few years ago but would have been proud to know that it's still looking this great. Larry has great attention to detail.
I completely agree with the used pad being perfect for soft paint, and I had a similar issue using a new pad vs. an older pad on a detail of an older GM vehicle. Awesome video, I always enjoy it, and my dream detail shop would include a big screen with your videos all playing in a random loop. Hey, a guy can dream right?
the way you can bring out the absolute best in any vehicle is incredible Larry. Would love to see you work on all three of those cars, but that NSX is a paint color I've rarely seen.
From all of us GenXers Thank you for the time machine. That is mint!
I love these cars. One of my all time favorites.
The Vette next!!!! Please please please. My wife and I are just setting off on a 76 full restoration. Would love to see that Vette detailed out. Love your channel!
Better than new. Amazing work, Larry.
I just did my 90 bronco for the first time you've helped me start a detailing business at 17
Wow, just wow! Another absolute dream machine that you brought back to better than new. You have a gift, my friend. The Syclone still looks amazing. I see he has the 1989 Turbo Trans Am as well. If you get your hands on that and find yourself a GMC Typhoon you’ll have run the gamut with what I consider the most desirable GM turbo powered vehicles ever produced.
Larry awesome job on the water spots love the videos.
You said ‘this is what Darth Vader would drive to work’. Bout choked on my coffee- that was awesome! Thank you for what you do.
NSX. My dream car since I was a kid
Truly a beautiful car…I never new about the GNX upgrades. Which makes it even so much better. I love it! Awesome work as always
There were a lot of Grand Nationals around but very very few GNXes. Darth Vader is right.
Stunning! And now I anxiously wait for you to do his next three.
That’s what I’m talking about. Beautiful work.😊😊😊
your friend has an amazing collection. Love a lot of his cars!
He’s a true gentleman and enthusiast! Thanks for watching :)
Your metaphors are legendary!
Please please do a video on the 20th anniversary Trans Am in the background beside the cyclone
Beautiful result as always, a big fave the National!
Next car should be the NSX for sure, that colour will be amazing once it’s been sorted properly 👌
Hi Larry. I love the work you do. If you are ever in Toronto i would really love to study the work you do and meet yah. I have 2017 buick lacrosse. Love Buicks
Woww gran colección tiene el señor esperemos otro gran trabajo en uno de sus autos
Lets to the Ferrari first, then the NSX next, and finally the Corvette. Awesome content, thanks Larry!!!!
I want to see you work on that gorgeous NSX!
3:17 classic ammo nyc moment for the OGs
Love the Grand National and the GN/X. I missed a good deal on a black 1987 Grand National with 40,000 original miles on it a few years back and now they’ve gone up in value and I’ll never find another one for the same price.
My first car (in 1990) was an '87 Grand National. Still one of my favorites
Nice video again. Thanks for sharing. Question about the sequence of washing though, you learned me to do wheels always first then the paint. This time you did it other way around, any reason for that?
This is an amazing machine. Well done as usual!
Always loved the GNX. When it comes to JDM, my love is for the NSX. The NSX next.
This guys collection is insane! Gout yourself a good client, Larry!
Do the Corvette next. 70-72 are the last of the good C3s (IMHO) and Corvette only starts to redeem itself 10 years later (last 3 MYs of C3). Those marshmallow years in between were my teen years, of course. :-)
But the 1970 ... in that color ... wow. Is there a pool where we can bet on how thick the paint is?
The Car Wizard would have been able to taste-test those dropping and immediately tell you which creature it was. 🤣
NSX and then that Blue Vette!! To me '70's Vette's are the coolest looking of them all.
I have learned something from every video I have watched. Keep up the awesome work!🎉
man i wish yall were in texas, i would ask yall to detail my grandpa's 1958 Pontiac Chieftain as yall do amazing work, night and day difference on every vehicle
"This is what Darth Vader would take to work" - that remark really cracked me up!
That was a line that Road and Track used when they initially reviewed the GNX in the 80s
Larry PLEASE detail that Jetstream Blue C6 ZR1, that is my absolute dream car and Id love to see you work your magic on it.
Would love to see the NSX detailed. That color is awesome.
Fantastic work as always, Larry! Mr Magician!
Please do the NSX next!
Man I would kill to have you detail my X3 M40i lol. You do such amazing work!
Loved the yellow head lights on that porsche!!
Great job! Love the paint work.
NSX. I'd love to see that. That Grand National looks amazing.
Damn! that looks like something that 2PAC would drive! man, that car looks really cool! now I want one!
Can't wait for the NSX!!!
Corvette plz!! :)
Im really interested how the paint on fiberglas body is to polish.
This turned out super nice again! I would go for the Corvette!
Very beautiful car. Excellent work
Got to do that NSX next!!! But we all know you'll most likely go with the Ferrari..
So I have a 93 mustang. Got it ceramic coated about year ago. Didn’t really have a garage but I tried my best to cover it up but now I have heavy water spots on it. Do I just polish it again or is there another method to get rid of them?
Awesome work
those before and afters were hella nice! great work & also would love to see the NSX or Super America!
As a big Honda fan, I think their gen1 NSX doesn't get enough love on UA-cam and it would be amazing to see you detail what I consider a near perfect car
