Brilliant and informative discussion. I can see why Dr. Klein' podcast is called Real Clear. This has helped me understand what's behind the baffling woke/social justice movement. It's a lot more serious than I believed -- not just college students acting stupid.

Just came across the book and podcast. I’m part of this small group too, and most definitely willing to swim through these waters. There might be more of us out there, too frightened to say anything.

Welcome Luana, and thank you for your comment. The shaming, guilt-tripping and intimidation by Woke revolutionaries have been immense. Once people realise this, they tend to start reclaiming their minds and tongues, and start taking a stand against this vicious intolerance. I hope you continue to benefit from our videos.

Yes! I've been recently saying to people that gender is a stand-in for the soul, but "a secular version of the soul" is an excellent phrase, thank you! Its great to have this independent insight corroborated! Its so valuable to have access to such a level ofdiscussion about these matters, grateful to the CTA for putting them on You Tube.

Parents are indulging in their children’s delusions while taking away all containment and guardrails. Parents are a big part of he problem! They watch ad their children spiral out of control and somehow these parents have come to believe that their children know best.

And Parents have no fear, they are not worried about how their children will navigate into adulthood and become mature citizens . It’s as if maturity is no longer important. The present generation can come to no good end and way too many parents are not holding the whole picture of life rather than indulging emotional desire. Lives are being destroyed!!! What will happen to this generation. I have two daughters living in Portland OR who are indulging in their fantasies and delusions. I for one fear who they are becoming.

Back in the early '00s the George Floyd online was *grape culture
Places like Tumblr and Flickr (which had a masive social network following then) had a very strict unspoken rule of you dont deny anyone who agrees with the narrative.
That meant as long as you were saying things, however radical, that aligned with the "current thing" you were right.
This, in my opinion did two things: it emboldened peoole to say things without fear of their peers applying critical thinking to it. So the ideas got progressively (no pun intended) more divorced fron reality and more based on ideology.
The other important thing is the "cult" learned that yoi dont have a the right to question, or say "no" to anyone who is politically aligned with you.
This also had the effect of the debasing of language. *grape had to change definition to fit the mental gymnastics. As did *violence, etc.
Now you have two groups, this cult, and rest of the society, who dont share a common language, escalating the conflict.
That culture was very strong and it was mostly online, but people suddenly spent 14 hours a day online.
If you look at Universities, Corporate HR, etc bio's you see Tumblr.
Now people are acting in real life how they acted online 20 years ago.
    Loved the Podcast.

They BOTH were promoting National Socialism.
Though the techniques were the SAME: Intimidation, Lies, mass persecution of the "percieved other"...
Kinda have 2 going already...The 3rd Wrong not 3rd Reich was already spoken of too many times
The Uni-Polar Condition has morphed into Sadism

Marx absolutely addresses the question of "who decides?" Addressing that question is Marx's fundamental concern. "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need" is not Marx's maxim but was the slogan of the French socialist Louis Blanc (and it has a deeper history than that). Marx did not raise this slogan himself but sought to explain what it would take to make it a reality.
The fact that you think that Marx never addresses this question demonstrates that you are not taking the problem you recognize seriously enough. If Marxism is a problem, you have to understand what it actually is, not a caricature of it.

Using Woke as a catch all boogey man is a cover for narcissists who’ve had their feelings hurt and aren’t particularly good at learning or being compassionate.
    Project much

Not really. Critical Theory, Wokery, Identity Politics etc is tbe same beast with different names.
It leads to the same outcomes.
