@@notgoodman6651 if you're into speed, then ya they do have the edge. They would also crush the RS off-road. But the RS has the waterproofing and 40ah battery. Depends what your riding style is like, but you really can't go wrong with any of them.
Your narration of what this or that car is going to do is my thought process every single day I ride my scooter around town. Having been a regular cyclist before discovering e-scooters, I'm used to it but I still do it internally when I ride in cars with people as well. That said, if you ride anything (bike, motorcycle, scooter) for any appreciable amount of time, you quickly learn to not trust ANY car you see on the road at any point.
I have an Inmotion Hillclimber I just got for my first e-scooter and your RS videos are provoking me to consider the RS for future irrational upgrade. 🙂 The cost is eye-watering, but that speed, range and stability look incredible. I love my Hillclimber, but the range isn’t so great.
You're right about the your channel not being recommended. Even though I subscribe I don't turn the Bell on for any of my subscriptions. And I haven't been recommended any of your videos for probably the last month and a half. This was the first one that popped up during browsing

It's funny how that guy in the Land Rover passed you just to ask about your scooter. I had something similar happen to me in Phoenix, AZ. I was just cruising down the road, and this guy in a really nice Chevy Silverado intentionally passed me. When i caught up with him at the stop light, he rolled down his window and asked me if i was aware of how fast i was going. My mind immediately sent into defense mode, so I just told him that i had no idea. He said well lets just put it this way.I had to get it up to 60 mph to pass you. I knew the speed limit was 45, so i responded by saying "if thats the case, then we're both wrong." He laughed and asked me if I'd pull off at the store up ahead so i could tell him more about my scooter and where he can get one. Lol
We ended up talking for about an hour. At that point i realized my time for my ride was up and i had to go home to get some sleep.
I know 2 people who ran ads for their channel and the exact same thing happened but eventually the algorithm will pick you back up and the channel will grow.
Glad I found your channel, really enjoyed your editing style. I just picked up a Gotrax GX2 for my first scoot, can’t wait for it to arrive this week.

I find trigger throttles to be the most controllable over bumps and riding at higher speeds. I do wonder though how a half twist throttle would do being a middle ground between full and 1/4 twist.

That cable you locked the RS to takes about 1 second to cut through with basic cutters. Then they would get the scooter AND an expensive lock :D
Never lock your stuff to something that can be cut/removed/destroyed easier/faster than the lock.

A thief wouldn't have even needed cutters. At 5.45 you can see the cables are held in place by what looks like a 12mm nut. It's surprising that scooter wasn't stolen.
Definitely right. If I were worried about it being stolen I would've locked it to the handrail like 1ft away. I've been around here all my life and haven't had anything stolen, it's one of the nicest zip codes in the greater Seattle metropolitan area. For places when I DO think there is a chance it'll get stolen, I bust out the rotor alarm with 120db siren so I can hear it if someone even touches the scooter.
Actually I just remembered, the RS has a lock feature built into the app that totally forgot about. If someone moves to scooter while it's locked then the horn and lights will cycle.

Action cameras don't do well at night. They can't stabilize and start getting blurry too. I'd like to see some of your footage of the 8 at night.

Awesome scooter, if it had come out 3 months earlier I might have gotten it instead of the Wolf King GT Pro. I love my scooter but the adjustable height on this is awesome. And Ginger's brave as hell to ride like he does, even if I was at 100% scan mode while I rode. The drivers here would probably kill me if I attempted to ride in traffic like I was a car. I've almost got clipped a few times in the bike lane.

You should get high index lenses for your glasses. You’ll pay more but they’re thinner.
I am trying to get this scooter man i love it. May i ask what are the levels for the suspension please. I may asked them to raise it up for me before they ship it.
I think in this video I have it lowered by one notch. But honestly it rides perfectly fine out of the box with stock height.

What is your opinion on this scooter vs the GTR? Which one do you prefer to take out?
It depends on the day, I flip flop back and forth pretty regularly. I guess the RS if I just want to get there and back quickly, but the GTR if it's really wet out or I am in a mood to have fun poppin on and off curbs and stuff.
Does the RS have any built in security (key, RFID tag etc)?
It has a Lock Feature in the app you can turn on. If the scooter is moved while it's locked then the horns and lights will cycle. I totally forgot about that 😅
Sadly they are sold out and have no ETA or lead times for deliveries. Which also worries me about parts for it if I use it almost daily as the weather gets nicer I don’t want to buy something and not be able to fix simple stuff. This looks great and I’m really interested but now I’m feeling hesitant after talking to the rep.. thoughts???

You mentioned a new wireless mic for your GoPro. It seems to work pretty good. What is it and would it be compatible with my Insta360 X3?
That's the great thing about this microphone set is it has internal recording. You can start the microphone recording when you start the camera recording and then sync them up when you edit the video. That way there's nothing hanging off your insta360 that will get in the shot. do you get wrist fatigue from the twist throttle??
No, more like inner hand fatigue. It's odd gripping onto the bar with just my pointer finger and thumb, the rest of your hand needs to slide along the grip when you accelerate. I prefer trigger throttle or full twist.
I'm also in Washington (kitsap) I'm torn between the Wolf King GTR and the Inmotion RS. Which do you prefer?

It depends completely on which type of riding you prefer. Rugged crazy stunt off-road type rides, GTR. Smooth fast stable high speed rides, RS.

Hi, i just got my inmotion RS. I love it but from my living situations, i have to store it at my apartment bike rack under a shed in the parking lot (it's too heavy, i can't bring it inside, I've no elevator and i don't live on 1st floor)
Please give my some tips to secure it. It's very expensive....
First tip would be go to the gym, lift fit in. I lift mine up steps into my house every time I ride. If you can't do that, then get two locks and two disc rotor locks. Like these

Have installation process on the fingerprint sensor on the scooter or where did you get your fingerprint sensor on your inmotion rs not the lock
I don't have a fingerprint sensor on the RS ...I didn't know they made one.

If I plan to go in somewhere for a longer period of time I'll use both of these. But I never leave it unsupervised for more than a couple hours

I sent an email to you on the official support channels, you need to use the app to setup the lock using your fingerprint. Otherwise it will unlock with any finger.

Hi, since we're both inmotion RS ppl now and ur a pro, can u give me some encouraging words that would uplift my mind to ride it???
(It's so bigger than my size, and massive I'm intimidated. I'm 21, 5'6". The video helps as well)
Lower the bars all the way to the lowest setting if you haven't already. Keep it in single motor mode until you get really good at it and it almost feels boring. If you can, find an open lot and practice tight figure 8s. Eventually make them faster and faster until you're good at swinging the weight of the scooter left and right. Just takes time. You'll get used to it. 👍
Send it. Keep it and 4th and learn. You'll be alright. Mindset is everything. If your a scary driver then people tend to get into accidents. you'll be good just watch out for other cats because their not looking for you.

I'm curious, im an aussie and if you were riding like you are at the beginning of the video you would be fined thousands of dollars, do you ever have any issue with the police riding on the road? great vid btw!
Yeah Australia and the UK are notorious for cracking down on scooters. Where I live they just don't care. The police are so underfunded here that you can report a legitimate crime in progress and half the time they won't even show up. Scooters are very low on their priority list.

Well , ginger , you put the fingerprint lock around the thin part of the rail , you could have wrapped it around three wires and the rail itselfso I would just cut the wire be off with your scooter. Sorry.
Yeah I laughed when he talked about cable cutters not being able to cut it because it's not wire....but attached it to steel catenary wire and not the steel piping.

In the situation I locked my scooter in this video it would have been more like 5 seconds. They could have just taken bolt cutters and snipped the wire that the scooter was locked too.
