Cool scooter 😁 looks like a beast. The 1 thing I don't care for is how close the front fork is to frame. Looks like that could be a place something could get stuck in there. Maybe off roading or whatever. Sticks or mud or snow. I ride all year. Rain or shine 😉 PEV is my daily transportation. Nice scooter though 😁 would love to have. I like to put VESC in my stuff for adjustability. Didn't see much about the system settings and adjustability. Just a few power settings. Is it using electric braking? That is a huge feature for me. Saves brakes and charges batt. That screen kinda hangs out there too 😉 great review 😁 keep em coming

You usually show the battery compartment. I also think this and the RS are the best looking scooters. The RS looks so much better organized in the battery compartment I’m curious what the Solar looks like inside? Thinking about getting the RS lite for $2500 right now but this Solar looks very intriguing with 12% off. I think the battery case would make or break my decision. Any opinions?
The thing is tho,it STILL doesn't have any indicators on the front!! And I don't understand why not as they are definitely needed!! SOLAR come on it's not a hard OR expensive fix!! I have a P1 Pro and I love it but have found that front indicators are definitely needed so I ended up buying a set of indicators off Amazon for £50 and they are remote control too,I feel much safer when riding on UK roads now, especially at roundabouts 🤘🏻😜👍🏼
I don't mind the looks, but it does have the mounting points for a steering damper. I may feel stable but the damper is a must. Ok, it's not pretty, I think we can agree on that. It looks like tupperware. It's got great weight for the power/range. 110lbs is impressive. I love that it has IP66. A 2000 Lumen light is not good enough for something that can go so fast, but people can invest in their own lighting solutions. No dedicated regen brake option - it's incorporated so you have to use your disk brakes. Welcome to the noise. The passcode for locking/tracking is a nice touch, though the tech has been around for years. The throttle still hasn't evolved into a vertical paddle, it's the same old thumb lever from 10yrs ago. It's not as modern as it should be - there should be tactile levels to throttles, not 'modes' beyond throttle responsiveness. The speed mode on-the-fly is a great feature. The USB charging port is nice, but not exactly a huge feature. I agree the recessing of the wires without rubber gaskets is a really cheap move. The fact the signal lights aren't on the end of the handgrips is really bad. For something that claims 105km/h, there should be lower-mounted lights as well - like a small rack of LEDs dedicated to illuminating the immediate path. For $5k USD, it's a work unfinished. It's unrefined & clunky. Like parts that were meant to be machined. It seems like a fight between two teams at Solar. One wants to make a smaller E-Move Roadster, the other side wants to make a bigger Apollo Pro. They got a lot right, but they seem to be ignoring some of the advances other makers have harnessed. Your flagship should pull out all the stops. This one was rushed out.

@stilljustaguy I ride a Roadrunner RS5 Max and it hits 49 mph for me. Paying an extra $1000 for a scooter, you should receive more than a 5 mph upgrade. Solar scooters usually tend to offer the best performance at whatever price point. This one just doesn't, even though it claims 65 mph. Numerous reviewers have shown the hyperion only hitting 52-53 mph max.
Also, forgot to mention that the Teewing Mars XTR costs the same price and gives much better performance, the scooter actually hits 65 mph. Heck, the scooter has a fire suppression system built in, which no other scooter has.
