I want Rahim to be one of Victor’s best friends. He is good for him. But I want him to date someone who is genuinely patient and understands him and his struggle. So I don’t want him to date Benji. He claims to be understanding but his true colour comes out when things doesn’t go his way. Victor isn’t perfect either but I want him to date someone better. Hope so 😭🙏🏻
Honestly same. I like Rahim more but I don't know how I would feel with Victor dating him RIGHT after breaking up with Benji. And neither Benji nor Victor seem to get each other's lives (Victor not getting his alcoholism and Benji not getting his culture. But if they did stay together id be down if they learned more about each other problems/lives)

Benji seems to be a fan favourite 🙄 but personally I wish they didn’t because their struggles are so different that they don’t seem to understand each other. And, Benji seems way more toxic than Victor but that’s just my personal opinion.
No matter what happens with Victor and Rahim, I want Vic and Benji to end. They’re just not healthy at all and I hate the way Benji acts toward Victor.

Victor should just be friends with Rahim and also break up with Benji.
It just doesn't work between Victor and Benji. Benji claims to be fully supportive and patient, but blows up when things get too tense and makes it known that he's tired of handholding Victor. And Benji has every right to want to be with someone more experienced, and he should. Not to mention that Benji flatout disrespected Victor's sports passions and allowed his friends to be a little too openly judgmental.
And I think he and Rahim would be a better duo as friends and can still help each other navigate through their sexuality by being supportive and vocal with each other. Rahim needs someone who'll love him for him and Victor needs someone who is okay with taking things slowly. Also, it would just be really cool to see two brown, queer characters be best friends in a modern tv series and to see that friendship start from the beginning. We hardly ever see two brown, queer characters as best friends in modern, mainstream media, especially from the point of the beginning of their friendship. If they are shown, they're usually already inseparable, catty with each other, and the main character tends to disregard the feelings of the best friend and the events that go on in their life.

If he goes with Rahim, it'll be the same shit because Victor can't communicate for shit. He wants it all to be perfect without the work. While I prefer Rahim, Victor needs to either be alone or with Benji for this to work in any kind of responsible way. If you need to end it, make it because you did the work and it didn't work,not because it's rough and you got another man waiting in queue.
