City of Montana skyline /Bulgaria/ 4K

The name "Montana" refers to a large western USA state as well as an important city in Bulgaria. It's located near the northwestern corner of this Balkan country, not far from its border with Serbia. Situated on the banks of the Ogosta River (a tributary of the Danube), the city was originally a Roman military camp. Devastated by the raids of the Huns and the Goths during the Middle Ages, the city was revived under Ottoman rule.
