When I first found out about the 'Lucas's Nightmare' hidden bosses, I looked up footage of someone fighting them. I didn't sleep at all that night. Every time I closed my eyes, I could only see Vapor 2 staring back at me
Regarding the Mother 3 one - The names could be indeed placeholders, or! They are actually as intended, but we are lacking the proper context to understand them. Now, it gets trickier the more people are involved with something, but: when you work on a project, one might sometimes not need to offer much context for under construction/in work things, because everyone present already knows this context. Thus, to an outsider, because there is no context, it comes off as creepy, or cryptic, but to anyone in the loop it makes perfect sense. If they are as intended, I can think of a potential explanation for the names - Perhaps the cut section they come from this sort of scenario: Lucas is dropped into a strange setting, where there are no enemies. Not the kind you notice anyway, and you have to roam around trying to do something, a task, which involves interacting with a whole lot of objects, items, or things to either collect the needed items, or just locate them. Some of the items or objects to interact with would then trigger these battles, either as traps, or to dwell deeper into the scenario. Could be a mix, really. They do make sense if you consider the Mother games are no stranger to curiously creepy settings, and dropping the player into them headfirst with hardly a warning given prior.
I cannot believe how much better this channel is than Netflix’s “Games that Made Us”, a show that seems to be aimed SQUARELY at people who don’t play games and don’t really like them. This channel in well researched, well written, interesting and entertaining.
I have enjoyed 'Toys That Made Us' and 'Movies That Made Us'. I have never heard of the Games one. I just looked and couldn't find it on Netflix either. Am I missing something?
My gosh, the my friend jeff section…I don’t have epilepsy and have seen things that were strong epilepsy warnings such as the banned porygon scene But that game I couldn’t even look at the screen for 5 seconds straight If it was supposed to be trippy maybe you were supposed to play the game on drugs and it would make sense
Megaman 9 is so good, I love the OST. I never got round to doing the challenges because I wanted to head straight into Megaman 10, but I had fun with both. I finished Megaman 11 the other week, and I'm still working my way through the trophies.
I'm inclined to believe the easter egg to MegaMan 9 is either just a killscreen or a joke message along the lines of "Wow, you did it! What a waste of your time!" or something like that.
I said this as a reply to your reply to another comment, but with the Top Banana segment, since the warning was lost in editing, the next best thing is to put the timestamp and warning in the beginning of the description and/or in the title of the video.
