She was basically the Mulan of The American Revolutionary war. She was definitely an honorary woman!

She lived up to her name, she did. Deborah was originally a Judge of Ancient Israel who fought in defence of her homeland.

I'm so proud of my Ancestor. If you read her Wikipedia, you'll read that her friend Paul Revere loaned her money when she needed it. Wow! He even helped her get a military pension. Which John Hancock signed the paperwork. Double wow!

Idk, probably because lots of people would get offended. Like women would probably be like "she's been giving us a bad name for identifyin as a "man" in uniform, no wonder why we get criticized". To other men "it's women like her why we are having this bull crap of women today of "identifying" themselves as "men" by cut off their boobs and have fake penis" and who knows how many more crap they would say. But that's my opinion I guess.

Real-life Wonder Woman. 👏😀 Finally, some juicy historical evidence that not all women would wear dresses, sew & train to be hostess & housewives. These are the women we should look up to-who stands for equality for all. Females are more than just delicate stereotypes who marry, wear dresses, holding fans &
being housewives. No, matter what. Man or woman, you can make a difference & have a gift.

Well that's probably what Deborah visionend of, of doesn't/ shouldn't matter what race or gender you were born in, long as you are capable of doing your best. No different than today, why can't women do construction or landscape, or drive truck across country, or drive ships/ boats? Last but not least, why can't they be a mechanic to work on machines? Cuz if they are capable of doing it, they should do it. Not just to do it just for stupid attention either.

Fascinating. Different sources say she was only able to remove one musket ball. I first ran across her story in NatGeo magazine in an article celebrating women of the American Revolution. How many know there were three Molly Pitchers? Women carried water to cool down the cannons, and it was a common enough name. Nancy Hart, and others...

Women have taken part in warfare and done awesome things for centuries. Unfortunately, even today there are some men who are insecure and feel threatened by women being able to accomplish wonderful deeds and having the same rights as them. SMH
RIP Deborah Sampson, you continue to be an inspiration!

Of course, think about it, if her and one of her male mates got into a argument and she slipped him, and he slipped back what happens? Right she departs him. Stands why they say "women only want equality, until real consequences happens than dont want it, want to be spoiled/ babyed, of playing the victim". No different than dates women say "we want to be treated equally" until the bill comes than they complain about it if the man doesn't have enough money for the bill, or when the man don't open the vehicle's door for them. Cuz in reality if women say "we want to be treated equally" to "we want equality for as partners" than why do they have a meltdown when or if they had to pay the bill's on date's/ expects the man to open doors for them, not alone expect to get treated like "they are special"? Makes no sense besides stupidness. Like they also say "equal rights, equal fights".

The movie would've called The Revolutionary or Honor-bound.
