Thanks for the video, Phil. Can't be easy getting material together that draws in viewers when you're covering a team this dysfunctional, but you and Tom do a good job of it.
Phil is awesome! He is usually on point in terms of seeing the big picture, and I love the fact that he is changing focus at this point in the season and already looking at a VERY important off-season for the Patriots. If we are all being honest, we are only continuing to watch to see Drake progress and to actively pray during each game that he he doesn't get hurt. This season was over weeks ago... the focus for me is now college football, and seeing who we should be looking at. I would also LOVE to see us take a look Cam Scatebo out of ASU as a RB2/3. He should still be available for Round 2 maybe even Round 3 becuase he is undersized... but the kid is awesome, both catching and running the ball. You just can't have multiple weaknesses as we;ve seen this year and have your QB always have to worry every snap. No need to force your first pick on an LT, draft best player available and then in next few rounds draft one of the top RTs and then hope that Andrews, Strange, Onwenu can solidify the middle.

Not encouraging. Lots of caveats for the guys mentioned. I can definitely see a scenario where they draft these guys too high, because the need is so high and the supply is so low, that they waste another entire draft year.
Draft Hunter. Anything else is a crime against humanity. Get a LT in free agency. They take years to get up to speed. Alt and Fuaga were the can't miss guys last year. Alt is a RT and looks so so this year. Fuaga can't get off the bench for the Jets. The frickin Jets. This years guys aren't as good as those two.
they should do what they should of did last year because Drake was the only pick thats clicking. trade the early picks joe milton and polk if they can for later picks and some competent established linemen. spend that cap money on coaches that know how to design a offense around Drake instead of ones that fail to utilize Drakes legs.

Only way the patriots are going to be competitive is for Kraft to open up his wallet. Obviously maye needs protection & weapons. Kraft can’t afford to be cheap anymore. He ran Brady & belichick out of town because he refused to pay for quality players
If you're drafting Travis Hunter to be a WR, you might as well draft T-Mac, who I think is the better pure WR. It's probably unrealistic Hunter will play both ways in the NFL. As for Campbell, while he may be a really good offensive lineman, it's looking likely that he may be a guard. You don't draft a guard with a top 5 pick. If you're looking for a left tackle, why no mention of Banks, who Field Yates has as his 6th rated prospect? Field has at least worked with the Patriots scouting department and has experience under Scott Pioli so I trust his opinion more than the average media guy.

Shoulda went hard after Jim Harbaugh as the HC! This roster sucks, and needs a respected HC and staff. Also an experienced GM and front office to rebuild this roster...not inexpensive coaches and inexpensive talent evaluators! Kraft IS the biggest problem right now!
I think we should throw Milton a start in the last 4 games... becuase... why not?
Much like Drake Maye, I prefer to see Phil P surrounded by talent, so this is a good one
Let's stop giving Wolff credit for drafting Maye. Kraft made it pretty clear he wanted a QB. In the end you had to take the QB.
Not encouraging. Lots of caveats for the guys mentioned. I can definitely see a scenario where they draft these guys too high, because the need is so high and the supply is so low, that they waste another entire draft year.
They’ve whiffed on e receivers they have to get Drake Maye the best two wide receivers as soon as possible
If i want a corner to play corner by far im drafting will johnson not no travis hunter
Good thing you aren’t a GM because the pats would be fucked. Giving up on Milton and Polk early real smart my friend.
@@brucelee4357 they should be so lucky to have me as the gm.
Coaches don't cost against the cap. Teams aren't giving up starting linemen for Joe Milton or Polk.
@@jamesdalton-lg2nv great information, now i have even less hope for this clown show and the more i hate chicago and washington for passing on Maye this past draft.
Wrong . Unless you get one of the top 2 tackles in free agency, you take the lineman . Ask Harbaugh. The Jets have Wilson and Gardner and where are they? Nowhere.
Will Campbell should be the choice.
Thats crazy he just said travis hunter thebnumber 1 receiver coming out in the draft , travis is not goin up against some of the beat defensive backs in the league , we got to stop this nonsense now , hell if he was doin it in the sec now u talking
WE will not Draft a WR first. We dint have an OL or DEFENSE. Wr have enough talent to WIN at skill positions. Even tho there's no high end talent. Add a Higgins or any taller downfield guy we will be fine. POlK will DEVELOP as well
Only way the patriots are going to be competitive is for Kraft to open up his wallet. Obviously maye needs protection & weapons. Kraft can’t afford to be cheap anymore. He ran Brady & belichick out of town because he refused to pay for quality players
Not a penalty for a QB sliding late, but yes a penalty for a QB fake sliding!
If Will Campbell is there, you take him.
