You are so helpful and positive! You're easing my fears of entering a new field at 50 years old. Thank you!
This was so helpful! Finishing up my degree and decided to go this direction being a paralegal. Taking notes!
Hi Ashley! Glad the video was helpful. Be sure to visit my website at www.LeslieSansoneWilliams.com and also join my group on Facebook called "Paralegal Break-In" Helpful resources in both locations. - Leslie :)
Dear Leslie,
I find your videos most insightful, informative, and encouraging. Tomorrow, I embark on yet another change in my paralegal journey. I have located your website but could not locate your Facebook page using the search word provided above. Either way, I hope to be in contact with you again.
Thank you for all that you do for the paralegal community.
Michelle
Thank you!
@@user-ty7xp4tc1z You are so welcome!
Thank you!! I absolutely love this video
You have such great knowledge in these areas. I love how you share your skills and knowledge with us. Thank you so much!
Thank you, Stella. Glad to be of help! - Leslie :)
Thank you so much! This is so helpful and I'm so grateful you are providing these tips. Thank you
You are very welcome hon! Glad this was helpful. - Leslie :)
Thank you for this. I'm a litigation paralegal, but now that I'm 60 years old, I'm getting tired of the field with all the stress and have been thinking about maybe getting into a real estate firm. For a while I worked for my husband's commercial real estate business so I am familiar with a lot of the documents, plus having my own home closings. The housing market is cooling, but I hope I can learn enough to get an interview and hopefully the job!
Hi J.C. - I think because of your Paralegal experience and your experience working for your husband's commerc'l real estate business, this would be an easy transition. - Leslie :)
I love you and your concise explanations
Thank you for this. I completed a Paralegal Certificate and was really drawn to the Real Estate area of the legal world. I am interested in applying to a title company that I am currently working with on my own closing. I'll definitely check out the software you referenced and look over some of these documents in greater depth.
Hey. How's your job search going?
Thank you for these videos! I’m just looking to get into law as a paralegal. I’m interested in possibly becoming an attorney. I do however want to work as a paralegal first to determine if it’s a field I truly want to go forward.
Go for it! That would be a very wise path to take. Paralegal then Attorney.
Thank you for this! Currently going to transition as a paralegal in my job, and need all the advice and Info.
Genesis - You are welcome! Wishing you the best in your Paralegal job! - Leslie :)
5 years old but vital info
Thanks
You're welcome. - Leslie :)
I am looking into becoming a paralegal, I currently work for my counties Appraisal District, I see alot of the warranty deeds and trustees deeds (mortgage) would the knowledge that I do have on those be helpful if I were to choose a paralegal position in real estate?
Before I read your post completely, I thought "Real Estate Paralegal". It would be a perfect transition, Vivi. You would bring an absolute value to this type of paralegal position.
vivi did you ever make the transition?
I found a real estate paralegal job online and I’m thinking of applying for it. I been at my job 22 years and the money and opportunities are stagnant. I’m an introvert and wondering if this would be the right career. I have an associates degree in Criminal Justice .
Real Estate Law overall is a very calm area to work in. Remember, introvert, extrovert and anything in-between, you are answering the telephone, dealing with clients, etc. The big question is...do you know how to perform a few of the duties in this area of law? - Leslie :)
Hello, can I become a real estate paralegal with a certificate from like a community college or how does it work? I keep on hearing different things.
A certificate doesn't (1) guarantee a paralegal position in the field you're interested in or (2) teach you everything you need to know to assist the attorney properly. If you've watched a lot of my videos, you'll hear me say how important it is to understand what a paralegal actually does everyday in the area of law you're focusing on. So, go to my website www.ParalegalCoffeeTalk.com - look under the tab entitled 'Paralegal Resources Hub' to see the 'Paralegal Playbook' (No Charge!). Click the link, sign up & download the playbook today. On one of the pages in the playbook, I teach you HOW to research various areas of law & the paralegal duties in each and highly recommend you learn quite a few of those duties, especially in the field you believe you'd enjoy, the real estate law field. This is such an important step. Hope this helps! Here's my website link: www.ParalegalCoffeeTalk.com - Best regards, Leslie W. :)
Hi I have a Associates in Criminal Justice and currently entering into my Paralegal Studies. I have intentions of getting my Real Estate license. Do you think that would be a great path to take and will it be helpful?
Is it your goal to be a real estate Paralegal?
@@ParalegalCareerMastermind Yes! My end goal is to hopefully have a firm where I can offer both services.
@@lovelysweetz4409 By "firm", you mean working for yourself, right. Is your state one of the 7 or so that allow non-attorneys to assist the general public?
