Sooo, if the third woman, Deanna, was said to have gone for a hike, but was possibly a danger to herself, how long I wonder, would it take a tracker dog to find her? I mean, if she’d robbed a bank, they’d have searched for her, no? 🤔

Nova Scotia is currently experiencing the “slip ups” and “oversights” of RCMP now, as Portapique and Pictou County area families are dealing with the special privileges being offered to senior officers who are speaking before the Inquiry Committee that is overseen by the RCMP…..Those involved in the mass shooting in April 18-19, 2020 involving 23 victims over 13 hours….. an absolute mess from the start…..

I find it mind boggling, that all these young women are hitch hiking, I live in England and don't think I've seen a lone female hitch hiker, since the early 90s, I have two daughters, and have brought them up not to take, risks, it seems to me, many of these young women are leading very high Risk life styles, there seems to be a awful lot of domestic abuse, i do really think some of these communities need to start taking care of there young women, why are these young women still putting themselves at risk, when they know so many other women have disappeared, I'm sure the police deserve some criticism, but I think some very uncomfortable questions, need to be asked, why are so many of these women ending up working the streets, especially indigenous communities, what is going on in the indigenous communities, for these poor young women, to end up working the streets

    • @carina450

There are indigenous women who are sick of the current narrative on this issue- that it’s all racism and bad cops. I’m not extreme in either direction on any issue. I’m a rationalist. Unfortunately most “advocates” or wokesters do not deal in reality. They also don’t acknowledge misogyny in their hierarchy of oppression and indigenous women are getting tired of it bc it’s not just bad wyt cops harming them but their own mxn. And not all victims are even indigenous. What they all are is female. Race & cops are not the root of the problem. Misogyny is. They solved Simpsons case. It was her BF of course. I think there are a variety of causes here but 99% of these mrdrs are by mxn in very difficult & isolated. terrain & circumstances. Ppl will not acknowledge that bc they’d rather rant about race than address male violence and deviancy. We don’t know what the police know bc they don’t share it until they get the guilty party. It doesn’t make them incompetent bc they can’t find a needle in a haystack or bc they don’t have enough evidence overnight. They may know who did it in every case but they will not say until they can do something.

Some cops don't care, some cops hurt people for fun other cops are trying to do the right thing. If you deal with the worst parts of human behavior frequently you are going to become hardened. Also how many of these cases turn out to be a drug bender and not a murder.

Its pretty obvious that certain members of the community protected the murderer(s). Everywhere there are hard drugs and prostitution there are predators and bodies.
