- This week Deb Paskall ties Kelly Davidson's Coho Killer. If your going for Coho in the Salt or Freshwater then you better have some KCK's in your fly box. As the name states...its a killer!!
Coho the worthy opponent on the Fly , Too much Fun !!!
Thank 's for sharing Deb
Oh aren't they they the most fun! They go totally nuts! Cheers Murray
Killer tie deb, I’m ordering some right away lol 🏃♂️💨
Right on Ryan!! Thanks so much :):)
The winner of the draw is Raymond Silcox. Thank you to everyone who has subscribed. Cheers!
Nice looking fly, think I'll do some of those with a dubbing loop body. I don't have straggle body
I think that would work fantastic! For many years after they discontinued the original body material I just used dubbing! You can always substitute materials. Take care.
I live in the Cariboo region... We don't have the best selection of hooks and ingredients to make flies like this. Where would you recommend I order stuff from? Great video! I hope to catch coho this fall!
For the materials and hooks I would recommend Hatchmatch'r Fly and Tackle...they have a fully online shop where all these materials can be found. Cheers.
I can see one in all yellow working up there. Those Cariboo trout love yellow!!
@@debpaskall Aweeesssooommmeee... Thanks! I'll have to look into it. I've been trying to tie a bunch of spey flies as well, seems to be tough to get all those materials it takes.
@@debpaskall Yellow eh? Usually olive, black and red seemed to be the colors. I've actually never tried using yellow to be honest!! You think this 'coho killer' fly would be good for rainbows too? I'll have to give it a shot, maybe smaller versions of it! 🍻🍻
@@fillup86 it may work you never know! My Coho #9 fly works really good up there and it was someone else that told me that so tried it last time I was there and sure enough it worked! Yes, yellow is a great color in the Cariboo. Yellow Careys blobs etc work really good there.
I'll be making it
You won't regret it! Cheers Jonathan.
