its really funny how literally ALL the jumpscares are just the monster shoving its face into the camera.
Zoonomaly had a very interesting premise and cool designs, I fully believe it was made with passion, but the execution was pretty... questionable.

I almost feel bad since I've seen the dev posting about this for like 1-2 years and the llama thing is a reoccurring character in his animations so it's clearly a passion project game, but it just. Sucks so much ass.
It's really evident after seeing the "entity sighting" shorts that their talent lies in animation, not game design. They like making spooky creatures that just ominously sit in the distance, and that's the extent of their skill.

This is like Hello Neighbor. They both have shitty and frustrating parkour, the annoying and confusing puzzles that feel impossible without bringing up a guide, and annoying AI.
These edited gameplay videos are really saving the Pyrolive channel.

As a fan of Lights are Off is hard to see so many people not really enjoying the game, but at the same time, game developing is hard man, and I am pretty sure he will learn from the L and move forward
Yeah, i mean this isn't even _abysmally_ bad for a first game. There is nothing wrong with the overall design, just the mechanics are frustrating and buggy. Something that's easily fixable without changin the soul of the game

So, we somehow have a spiritual successor to Dark. A bunch of instakill enemies around RNG puzzles with a final boss that's literally defeated by flicking a bunch of switches. Except Dark at least had the decency to offer upgrades that trivialize the last hour of the game.

I really liked the idea of this video game as well as its teaser . I was hyped for a zoo based horror game featuring twisted , fucked up versions of animals that we all love . But this game looked horrible, it missed the mark so much that it ended up on another planet . I was so upset

Zoonomaly literally came out not long after Zoochosis teaser trailer dropped. It's no coincidence. When people see something trending, they copy that idea until it's milked to the bone.

@@kellmedd4925 Zoonomaly was a concept before that trailer its just Zoochosis has just been a CONCEPT way longer then its trailer and it isn't the first zoo horror game that mutated animals.
The thing is there could be easy diegetic fixes for the puzzles and I dont mean it in necessarily yellow paint to progress. The correct X on the planks could just have a faint after glow after you shoot it like UV paint for just a couple milliseconds, so you know where to stand yet not being too overt about it. Same with the switches. The correct ones could have a faint (paint) mark just out of view so you have to find that and remember roughly which ones you need to press, but they reset if you get one wrong, thus making it more fair and more of an attention and memory challenge while under pressure (final boss would apply manly for that).
I think there was definitely effort put into the game but it could use some serious polishing both gameplay wise and from a technical visual and design standpoint (enemy variation, movement and behaviour).
Anyway, good slop mmmm

Sometimes, there comes a combination of sounds and images that is perfect by all standards. 1:40 - 1:52 is such a moment in time and space. To me, it's like a modern day Mona Lisa. Or the Starry Night painting. Or That one symphony that one dude heard in a dream and tried to recreate, and made the best symphony of his times. I think the devil was the one who played it best (that's what the guy said). Anyway. Pyro, your editor is an artist and deserves a raise in pay. That's the least you could do. And I guess you are to credit for this too. But you already got money, so be a philanthropist.
