Eric your channel is a life saver. I trust you with my GAS wholeheartedly. 😂 No honestly I love your content as I'm sure many more do. You are appreciated. Take some time for your projects, life and whatnot. Then come back and give us all what we want to buy on the camera market.
I also tend to lean towards lenses that have a special look to them. Perfect imperfections. Question: if you like the (retro) look in the way a lens renders, would you choose the ZF over the Z6III to go along with that overall retro “look” as a total package? It seems like you have a love / hate relationship with the ZF. Maybe? You steer towards smaller gear, back to bigger gear, back & forth. lol. I know, I’ve been there. Prefer the Z6III?
ZF actually feels great in the hand even without additional grip if you put prime lenses on it that aren't too big. Much better ergonomics than a FUJI X-T camera because buttons are well placed, have a good size and don't feel mushy. If you try one for real there is nothing that justifies "oversized".
@@ericrjennings That depends on personal preference and correct hand holding technique. I don't have any issues using 50 mm f1/.8 and 85 mm f/1.8 lenses with it. Retro-inspired cameras are not for everybody.
@@ericrjennings I tried them. Doesn't fit for my hands. Buttons are too small. I can't operate that camera blindly without looking where to place the fingers.
@@ericrjennings I sold all my Fuji gear years ago because of the exposure stepping and focus hunting. They are GREAT for stills, but completely unreliable for video. Surprised you don't use your Olympus more for talking head shots - Oly colors are fantastic.
THE GAS KING IS BACK
😂
The gassiest of gassers.
@andrewkerns6777 it was a gift! lol cmon
Z6iii for the win 🏆

Nikon is killing it.
Congratulations with your Z6 III. Hope you enjoy it and tell us your experience.
I still use D3s, D810 and even D90
⛽ looking forward to the Nikon 85. I've always wanted to test that against the Olympus 45/1.2.

The zf is a cook camera but its ergos bother me. It’s too big/heavy and slippery at the same time. That’s just opinion though.
I wish I was gifted something as well. I am still rocking a camera from 2011.
@@SunePedersen88 well it’s a gifted rental so I have to return it
Looks better than the oversized ZF imo, this kinda look like mini D800!

@jorgepinogarciadelasbayonas I disagree. Slippery and heavy.

@jorgepinogarciadelasbayonas you’re right but I find the ergos of the xt5 better than the zf

Just wondering : I have a Z8 : does it make sense to get a z6iii?
Not unless you need flip screen
⚡️
Z6III has not the same evf as the earlier models. Higher res, higher brightness, higher frame rate. You should notice it instantly 😊
Good to know
Better than even the Z9/8 some
Nikon people confirming
which breed of potato did you use to record this video?
Idaho
Looks like you got some dust on your sensor floating up by your head 😊
Yeah i see that. Plus the horrible exposure ramping in this video. Brutal
@@ericrjennings still love your content regardless 😃

@@RandumbTech I should’ve put the camera in manual but I had 15 minutes to make and get this video out. Maybe one day I’ll grow up and try on UA-cam.
Incredibly generous of whoever sent it. Chinese lenses are the future 🇨🇳
