Well it only took me until I was 39 to start running tractors...so...way to go Brently. Start them early, makes them a better driver too later on. Only thing I had driven was a lawn tractor before I got my Kubota BX2680. In 2 years I've only put 98 hours on that tractor, but its saved me so many hours of doing things by hand. Sometimes those dang safety switches are annoying....they need to be there for some people but when you are trying to teach a kid to operate something, it really gets aggravating. I've got a co-worker's son that occasionally wants to come up and help me with tractor work, he's right at that age where he wants to help, but can't quite reach the pedals good enough without stalling the tractor and the seat don't go forward any farther LOL. That's alright, I give it another year and he'll be able to do it. Getting the buildings the way you want them on the property is a must do....so much better to do it initially than try to do it later on and have to tear stuff up again. Having that lean-to on the end of the garage will be very nice, and it'll be cluttered like the garage in no time HAHA!!! We all know how things like that goes.
Thank You for the comment and I would be lying to myself if I say I will keep it neat. Tractors are handy to have and save a lot of time and strain your back. I am fortunate that my dad started me on a tractor early on and you are correct you have no trouble passing your driving test to get your license
That boy has no idea how valuable everything in this video actually is.
Maybe he will realize one day, I know it took me to a little later in life to realize but maybe a seed is planted. Thanks for your comment
