Travis, you’ve done good and are a great operator with your box blade. It’s great to see all the progress you’ve made since the beginning. I’ve enjoyed being along for the ride.

You're almost there. It's a lot of work. Is the house complete?

I would say it is about 97.3% complete. Biggest project remaining is trimming my exterior windows and doors, beyond that just small stuff that will probably take me the next two years to complete. Honestly, I am tired of working on it! 😀 Have a good Thanksgiving

Does gravel like that benefit from a roller compactor? Or will driving on it be enough to get it packed in , I guess along with time.

@@Lenny_BoyleYes, After I make sure I have them the way I want them I will rent a roller to compact. Now our normal path in and out with the vehicles is already packed tight but it is a large area to compact one tire width at a time. Thanks for the comment!

That rock doesn't look like it has fines in it. I normally use what we call "plant mix" which is normally 3/4" minus as a top coat for a driveway. If yours is clean rock what is your reasoning to using it? It sure looks nice, learning how to properly use a box blade is critical to getting results like you get.

These don’t have any fines, 1/2” stone, I used what is called crush and run in our area as a base coat. I have had good luck with the 1/2”, it runs in tight and leaves a smooth surface. Appreciate the comment!
