I enjoyed the cost-per-word analysis. This doesn’t affect the relative comparison, but you wrote dollars per word while saying cents per word. I like the channel!
Doh!! My bad!! Thanks for catching that. And I’m so glad you enjoyed that analysis. I’ll tell ya’; when I first realized that it kinda shook me up. Thank you for the feedback, and I’m so glad you like the channel.
@JournalingwithSteve Hi Steve, here is your dose of daily pronounciation policing 😁 Techo means planner and is pronounced tetsh-oh. So the notebook you showed is not the techo, but their notebook. That just as an aside, I know it isn't important, but is me being an insufferable German know-it-all 😉 I'd like to point out again, there are bargains to be had, for the more pricey notebooks sometimes. I buy LT1917 out of season colours in their yearly sale and some of the companies that sell the new STRP do sell second quality items. I got two of these and their only fault are minor scratches on the cover, something they'd acquire within days of use anyway. The cost per word might analysis seem a bit over the top for some, but it shows how sometimes buying expensive items does not equal mindless overspending.
@@MsJacobowski super good feedback!Thank you! I pulled the picture from a description reading “Techo” … rats. I’ll have to make a corrective comment on that score. I did describe deep Leuchtturm discounts toward the end of the video. What is STRP? That is an unfamiliar term to me. And, have you ever tried Kokuyo notebooks? Thanks again.
I see that cost calculation per word as a kind of practical joke. You can't be serious about that! Or can you?.. Then you can also calculate the cost of the ink used per word, because ink prices can also vary enormously....I'm laughing my head off!! 😂
@@Draco52-h5r well now you’ve got me laughing!😂 I was being serious, but I do see the humor too. I actually did think about ink cost, but figured that a) my math skills aren’t that good, and b) it wouldn’t affect the cost of the notebook. It does affect the cost of journaling though!😂 Thanks for weighing in, and I’m glad you got a good belly laugh out of it.
