This is absolutely adorable! You have DEFINITELY got a Ray Davies influence!
I met him when I was 18 (1985)...he was the most amazing gentleman. He escorted me into an after-party; I was slightly toasted & tired. He made sure I was okay. I will never forget his kindness and the incredible show that night.

Excellent. Just the kind of lyrics Ray writes himself. Light-hearted vaudevillean style like "Have a Cuppa Tea" complete with self-mocking story and obviously reverential admiration. Totally British blend of humour and respect. A perfect tribute. Well done.

Thank you Annie, we had a laugh making it. Strangely, Ray was filming a TV interview in the next street as we made it, he drove past at one point and looked over, don't suppose he realised we were making a video about him though.
