The animated Snoopy on the back takes 14 seconds to transit across the sky. This mirrors the 14 seconds that were timed by the original Speedmaster for the engine burn aboard the Apollo 13.
That’s even MORE cool. I love the thought and intention that went into this Speedmaster. I kinda wish Omega, and other brands, (I’m looking at you Rolex) would be this purposeful with all their special/limited/anniversary type releases.

This watch made me step outside my Rolex bubble and get into Omega. I put down a deposit with my local OB and the no games buying experience was so refreshing in comparison to Rolex.
Absolutely stunning. Blue, silver, and white is probably my favorite color combination of all time- combined with the classic look of the speed master we know and love... Omega hit it out of the park with this one
This is my dream watch. That caseback automatically makes me happy, and I don’t think you can ask for more from a watch. I really need to save up to one.
Bought mine a few weeks ago… love it, just an amazing watch. And the silver face deserves as big a mention as the back! And I’m sure many would be surprised to hear, but my 43.5 mm Planet Ocean is still my all time ever favourite watch.
This watch is so gorgeous and cute. The silver and blue contrasts in such a beautiful way and watching Snoopy in his spacecraft always make me smile. If I could afford it it would had been mine already.
Love this watch so much. Color scheme and case back. Also the silver snoopy award is very special. It’s the astronaut’s award. Only they select individuals worthy to receive it for safety or helping to complete a mission.
Often, my mortal brain (and peasant wallet) cannot fathom why some watches cost more than sports cars or whole houses. Thankfully, Omega has dropped this brilliant reminder - there are operating theatres that look less clean than this. 🤯
Hey Teddy, I was blessed & lucky to have made the cut @ my AD and placed my deposit down on this beauty, Can't wait to finally get it in the next 2 months, many Omega collectors doubt that this Snoopy edition will not skyrocket as the previous version, but I say that doesn't matter to a true collector a well as no other Snoopy model has that AMAZING animated caseback. Keep the GREAT content coming, they help keep us watch lovers sane in these trying times...!
Big thumbs up on disclosing all watch dimensions and wrist size in a high quality way, many fail to do that, it should be standard, including lug to lug. Subscribing.
i've been meaning to downsize my collection this year to pieces that see considerable wrist time. Went out the window when I added a 60th anniversary speedy to accompany my 145.012 moonwatch. And now Omega releases something of this calibre with that mesmerizing caseback. Minimalism is difficult to attain in the watch wearing world! Teddy, I only just started watching your channel, and noticed your state of the collection video dates back to 2018, can we expect an updated one soon?
A neat video could come from this: Snoopy on Watches Across the Decades. Start with a look back at the first Snoopy/Peanuts watches, all the way up to this gem in 2020. You can also look into the vast spectrum of price ranges for Snoopy watches, from the sub-$100 Timex quartz range, to the lower-end automatic Snoopy Marlins, all the way up to the insane amount of money collectors are willing to pay for one of those earlier commemorative Snoopy Speedmasters...
That one is very special. I wouldn’t want a cartoon dog on my watch, but the execution and the case back…. Wow! Well done, and I can see why it’s so popular!
Excellent video . I agree , that case back is so unique . Would be an amazing piece to own . BTW one of your videos helped convince me to pick up a Sinn 556 . Thank you 😊
Absolutely love your content Teddy! Tired of all the watch snob channels pushing their elite narratives, the whole expensive wines and the million dollar spreads crap that’s not practical for the average man. Thank you for keeping your feet grounded. 😊
@Teddy Baldassare you bastard! You didn't mention the Seamaster Professional 300m blue wave dial variant in your article. That watch is LITERALLY one of the best watches ever made and gives 10K+ watches a run for their money.
Amazing watch. Would love to have one but I have to set my sights at a more 'down to Earth price'. See what I did there! But just to be picky Teddy, that's a depiction of a command/service module and not a lunar module. Love your channel, keep them videos coming. Best wishes from the U.K.
I usually hate when brands cover up their beautiful movements but daaaaamn, this was worth it!
I would wear the watch back side up
Backside up and chronograph always on.
Like the Dalai Lama does ;)
That's how you wear a wife actually
Same
As god intended

114 likes, almost perfect
A terrific notion (that even seasoned reviewers echo) but Snoopy's trajectory actually takes over 30-seconds from appearance to disappearance.
Just made it 214
Rolex 50th edition: makes bezel green
Omega: snoopy
Oh god please don’t start a “Samsung vs Apple” fight in the watch community...

Just when I thought I was done buying watches for awhile...”they pull me back in”
Thumbnail was enough for me to think: "Damn, that watch looks GORGEOUS."
Did it’s job but certainly not clickbait. Looks even better in video.
@@TeddyBaldassarre Sure it does!
I love this watch. Might have to add this to my “Dark Side of the Moon”.
Well done Omega on this
Hands down one of the most clever and beautiful case backs I've ever seen.
That moon in the caseback looks so crisp.
Really smart and fun how they animated Snoopy. :) I´m a fan!
That’s sick‼️👍 Love that creativity ...GREAT JOB OMEGA
Agreed!
This caseback is a master piece. Thank you to share this. Nice job!

Unbelievably cool watch design, I love the originality of this watch. Although it is a little thick
Nothing wrong with a lil thicc
It's actually only 0.1mm thicker then the normal Speedy Pro. So basically the same
Will Omega ever make a thin Speedmaster or Seamaster again?

"alright start the chronograph"
*clicks*
*clicks again*
"okay, how many seconds have passed?"
"it's uhhhh the snoopy's right in front of the earth"
Speedmaster is 10k times better looking than the Daytona. Thats My opinion.
Rolex fanboys gonna hate
No. You’re wrong!
It’s 20x better ;)
Having had them both on my wrist I can tell that the Speedy wins, but it is close
the small dials at 3 and 9 on the daytona not being in line with the hour markers just ruins the whole watch for me

Great review and beautiful shots. It is definitely a unique case back that has never been seen before.
Super cool, absolute homerun by Omega. They could've easily screwed the pooch a million different ways with this and they didn't, they nailed it.
My favorite new watch.
Soon as I saw this I knew I was watching it! Beautiful watch.
Coolest watch of 2020. 👍🏻👍🏻
I have my eyes on it, thanks for more detail explaining. Thanks.
Out of my range but I would own this in a heart beat. I prefer a black speedy but that caseback is amazing.
The fastest I’ve ever clicked on a video. Excellent work, Teddy!
teddy what would you pick? a hublow big fang uniblow gmt or 5 48mm Invictas covered in diamonds?
That just looks absolutely perfect on your wrist! what a dream watch
Great review Teddy- I think some of the best macros of this watch yet! Good going :) LOVE the watch and the case back - gorgeous!!!!
I love the Omega Speedmaster.... and this one was a home run! This one and the previous white Snoopy are one of my grail watches.
Absolutely phenomenal! And I'm not normally a fan of chronographs
Hopefully I’ll be able to get one…this watch is amazing especially the case back

I swear if Omega continues to make this many special editions, the regular Speedmaster will become the rare version.
