I loved hearing about Japanese holidays! Unfortunately, the U.S. isn't very good at multiculturalism in schools I grew up in, so have to get my culture fix as other way I can 😁. I also loved hearing about you more, too! If you are ever comfortable to talk about it, I would love to hear your story on where you're from and how you got to settle in Japan 😁.
Happy Golden week 😊 So much fun to hear about some of your holidays. I have always watched a lot of anime, so fun to hear about your country 😊❤️ and as always love to watch you stitch this project.❤️
@@needleninja5788 I do really enjoy anime. My only problem is I have to watch it in Japanese, with english text. Which means I cannot watch while Stitching, because I can only understand a few Japanese words 😅 One favorite is difficult, I have a big love for One Piece and fairytail , but I have to say either kaishu wa Maid-sama or vampire knight, those to I can watch over and over again. But I have just stared to watch Fruit Basket, and it is a contender for my favorite. And I love Death Note but only as an Manga 😂😊❤️
Happy Golden week! Last week I too decided to get organized. We have a finished basement with a media area, bar, pool table and a large L shaped table I used for a desk before I retired in 2017, which I converted into a sewing area to make masks. I used the pool table as my measuring and cutting area. I stopped making masks once they came on the market, so the pool table then became a storage area. It got so covered, that it looked messy. So I decided to store away all my sewing supplies and put stuff in drawers, now the pool table is nice and clean and I don't feel so overwhelmed. Of course I picked up cross stitch and diamond painting so to keep my canvases flat, they are on a small section of the pool table 😂😂😂. Oh well, at least my family room upstairs is back to normal... for the time being. 😅😅😅💖🇺🇸. Great video as always! 🙏🙏
Hi Laurel 🤗 Sounds like a lot of work 😅 Just hearing that Your house has a basement, wow!!! There are no basements here 😞 If I had one, I’m sure it will be full of my craft stuff 😂 I used to make mask myself too, for everyone around, not anymore. And pool table? Really ? in a house? So envy😁 I think I wanna visit You 😄💕 Happy Stitching my Dear♥️
@@needleninja5788 When we moved from Connecticut to Ohio for my job in 2004 (my hubby was retired) I wanted to get a home that we never had; something that we could really entertain in. My hubby is now 83 and we dont entertain as we did, but he enjoys having his space and an extra TV so we can watch our own shows. He's a sports guy and I like cooking and crime shows. You are very welcome to visit if you travel to Ohio. In the future I would love to visit Japan. I've been following several YT channels in Japan. Kimono Mom, Paolo and Tokyo Zebra, Chris Abroad and yours :-). The scenery that I've seen is so beautiful. I also was drawn to Japan because the company I worked for JTEKT is based there and when the March 2011 tsunami hit - it affected so many of our co-workers there. Later I came across videos of it and cried for the loss of so many people. It is amazing to see how much of the country is already rebuilt and thriving. It may be several years until I can travel -- I will be following my YT friends for a long time. Have a fantastic day and God bless you and your family. :-)

Happy Golden Week to you, I hope you are enjoying your time with your family! 🥰 It’s funny because you talked also about the « Girls’ day » on March 3rd and it’s my birth date! Happy stitching and I hope you are able to post longer videos soon! ☺️
Hi Amelie🤗 I must say, I had a great holiday ☀️ Is it ✨? March 3rd calls “ Hina Matsuri” which actually means “ Dolls Festival” and it is also my Mother in Law B-Day💕 So I’m sure I will remember Yours too 😁👍 ... and thank You, but still no luck with that🤔
I love hearing the history. You’re a very interesting person to listen too. Evelyn x the pond has a material minute on her vlog and it’s really fascinating. You are like listening to a friend telling a story please continue.
I love hearing and learning all the new things you tell us about, so please keep teaching us these new things...very interesting. And love the carp picture with the baby boy. How do you decide if your going to do full cross stitch or half(tent)stitch?? I see alot of people doing tent stitch now. Do you think you would have better coverage on your white fabric with full cross or is it the same coverage?? Stay safe my friend...happy stitching 😊
Hi Jodee 🤗 Sorry to reply to You this late🙏 Thanks for watching my videos, I really appreciate it♥️ I don’t know, why I choose half stitch over cross stitch. I just feel that with large full coverage projects I can make a faster progress and I don’t see much (almost non ) difference between 25ct fabric half stitch 2over1 and full crosses 1 over 1. Stay safe and happy stitching, my friend👩❤️👩
So very relaxing to listen to while I’m working. I am currently curating a collection of Cosmo floss, I think you will like it! Happy Stitching my YT friend!!😊
@@needleninja5788 I order mine from TheFarmer’s Attic on ETSY. I messaged her months ago if I could start getting 50 skeins a month and she was very willing and kind. I think there are 400+ colors total for Cosmo, and yes it’s more $$$, but worth it in my humble opinion! I know the Fat Quarters Shop online also carries it.
