Seeing Reach gameplay just makes me wish the outlines would go away. Just having the red names would have been enough. That, and just have static vehicle spawns. The pelican drop off is cool, but it losses its merits when you realize you will only be seeing hogs and mongooses (mongi? Mongeese?) for most of the match. Bigger BTB made me think we'd have greater vehicle combat, but mostly I'm just limited to a warthog.
I miss the good old rvb. Red and blue name tags would have worked just fine. I feel like I can't see the enemies or teammates armor very well with those outlines on top of them :/ Thanks for watching!
You can turn the outlines off since a while ago. If you do that you will just see the enemy name above thier head when you aim at them and for friendlies you just see thier service tag floating above thier head like in the old games.
@@gaiusjuliuscaesar9902 If you mean like the radar then no the radar works the same. Only diffrence is just that you wont see the outlines on enemies and friends. I guess you technically have a disadvantage over players who have them turned on as they notice you quicker i suppose but personally I did turn them off cause I hate the outlines.
I feel like all air vehicles if 343 decides to add the hornet and falcon (not all spawning on the same map) could coexist with each other with the hornet being a quick transport vehicle and the falcon being a much more heavy vehicle that could be out matched by a wasps quick movements but with a good falcon pilot and gunners might be able to shoot down a wasp.
I love this. A great dynamic between the two. Falcon requires 3 people but has much heavier armor and multiple guns. While the wasp only requires one person to be effective and is much more agile but only has one gun and lighter armor. A great balance like that would add a lot of strategy and skill depth to the game
No one seems to mention how unbelievably O.P the sniper rifle is against vehicles in halo infinite. It’s only four shots to take out a tank or wraith, three shots to take out a warthog. I think it is also 3-4 shots to take out a wasp too. You don’t even need to reload to take out a vehicle in that game. It’s kinda ridiculous.
I think when it comes to balancing, the falcon can be overpowered. But, that could be mitigated by changing what variant of the falcon spawns on a map or what maps it's allowed to spawn on. The great thing about Halo balancing is that not every weapon, vehicle, or equipment has to be on every map, and what things are there can be changed if needed. Another great video and get well soon!
Another great video, I can only Imagine how hard it would be to make that Machinima part. Let alone the rest of the video, while dealing with strep? You are terribly underrated Mr. Grey.
Honestly that’s how a lot of halo players should look at infinite. The game isn’t “bad” it’s just missing a lot of what made halo Halo. To which I 100% agree
Awesome machinima 😃 Funny how the 3 different vehicles from the 3 different games are talking to each other 😆 I agree with your opinions in this video. I do like the feeling of community/fellowship when you are together in a vehicle with others 😄 Thinking about this make me wonder what people’s opinions are on the ghost, banshee and prowler since they also are just for 1 person.
Thanks for watching!! The machinima portions are my favorite parts of these videos for sure. I think the other single occupant vehicles are good because they always had vehicles like the falcon and hornet to accompany them. Now it's just single player only aircraft in infinite. Hopefully 343 adds the falcon back!!
@@MR.AlIEN8ED No problem, it is fun to watch your videos 😃 Yeah, the machinimas are awesome, special and fun 🤩 You’ve got a good point about there being no flying vehicle for multiple players. The ground vehicles are good and fun since there are both vehicles for single and multiple players
2:43. You've obviously never played CTF on BTB with the bois standing on your Wasp, equipped with Skewers/Spankers/Snipers, as you escort them from enemy flag to delivery.
Exactly my thoughts. Good video. Things should only be powerful if utilizing teamwork. Not giving a single person a quite durable and easy kill getting vehicle (Both ghost and wasp from Halo Infinite) Makes me annoyed that they could tweak the balance of some things and make it good, but they wont.
Halo is a party game. Not a one man flying army game. I appreciate the razorback in infinite. They should have given the same treatment to the aircraft in this game as well
Each vehicle serves different purposes, and could all co exist on a large battle field. Imagine this. A revamped invasion, firefight hybrid game mode. 40v40. The hornet is good for quick transportation, and light air support. Medium armor, medium speed. The wasp is excellent at point control and area denial, a fast and nimble aircraft that's balanced by light armor. The Falcon is an Air warthog, it allows for great team work, and an excellent air tank, something that's slow but packs a punch. Great for air to air, and air to ground combat. With heavier armor making it a slower vehicle. And I'd even make separate variations of each too. I loved the different wasps in Halo 5, I think they all worked well and would work just fine in infinite with a few minor tweaks. For the Hornet, you have the base one, an Oni variation. And one with two mounted Commandos that can be destroyed. As for the Falcon, they could bring back the grenade version from the campaign. A "razorback" version that can hold up to 7 players (which is including the pilot) that comes equipped with flares and a front mounted Oni turret that the pilot can control. Now with this of course you'd need banished variations, which would add a lot of depth to the game and build onto the world and lore. In addition to an expanded banished air force, each side needs Anti Air capabilities. which is a great way to reintroduce some fan favorites. Where is the Gaus hog, the anti air wraith, the Spectre, revenant, prowler, the mantis, various scorpion variants, all the variations of the shade turrets, the Sabre, the seraph, maybe an updated Elephant? and thats not even jumping into the Halo wars vehicles like the vulture, the wolverine the locust ect ect. Where is the spiker, the brute shot, the carbine, more Magnum variants, both SMGs, a proper shotgun, the Spartan laser, fuel rod cannon, the beam rifle, the Mauler, the rail gun, both variations of the plasma rifles, the plasma repeater, the plasma caster, the plasma launcher, the needler rifle, the focus rifle, the saw, concussion rifle, the grenade launcher, the storm rifle the halo 5 promethean weapons just need a bit of tweaking but they were still fun and new. Where are all of the turrets, the hunter cannon, the plasma turret, the flame thrower, the missile pod, the gauze cannon. What happened to the flame grenades? Or what about the scrap cannon that's already in the game? There is so much that already exists that would add so much. If 343 could add all of the things that have already been in games, then they would be able to bring their own original ideas into the game. Give the fans a full sandbox that's been developing for 21 years. And then build upon it. That's 343s biggest problem. They are ignoring what the fans want. I mean imagine a game mode like a mix between Stronghold, invasion, and conquest from battlefront. Where the banished are trying to invade a UNSC Cruiser, and visa versa. The battle starts and the player has a few options, they can spawn at their base, on a squad member, or a new feature. If the player accumulates a certai. Amount of points, they can opt to drop anywhere on the map via drop pods. From there, there will be 4 points on the map to control. after capturing a strong hold that base will spawn the appropriate reinforcements like in Halo 5. There will be AI on both sides, Marines, ODSTs, grunts, Jackles, Hunters with playable Sangheili, and brute options for the banished. With a full open sandbox that suits each player individually. After a team secures a certain amount of points, the battle takes up to space where after a small prep time, the invading team will strike the cruiser. Completing a few objectives, like destroying the slipspace drive, the shield generators and various other tasks. Sabres, seraphs, banshees, phantoms, longswords, and pelicans battle it out until the invading team is able to capture a point within the cruiser. Once captured another small prep phase will occur. Now the invading team is tasked with planting charges in the engine room and taking our the cruiser from the inside. Each phase will have a generous time limit. Imagine how fun that would be.
I love this. I wish these things could be implemented. Season 3 is delayed now unfortunately. Forge beta and campaign coop won't be until November at the earliest. It's going to take a long time to get what we want out of this title. Also I want an elephant vs elephant game type. Like the mammoth from Halo 4 would be epic.

A pilot in a Hornet will but at a far greater personal risk as you tend to need to get closer leaving you open to sticks plasma EMP rockets ECT

it can't fly backwards thus giving some idea of the direction of travel
