Would you choose the Ultimate over the Samsung S22 Ultra? 👀
For me yes, cause I'm a huawei user, but I wouldn't advice someone else to do the same....
Not for that price compared to allround usabilty: battery capacity is lackluster, sound subpar, camera performance disappointing. It looks classy, but I want a phone to be practical. I don't like the UI either. Just curious if you can sideload gapps. If i was rich I'd buy S22U, but for now my ROG2 is still doing great.

Yeah a good phone. I imported it. A great camera system. Not agreeing with dx0mark as the contrast and colors are too punchy imho. I always have a yellowish face on it which is not correct and other phones do it better. Tuning down vibrancy helps and contrast aswell. But why no natural color filter?
Anyway good video for a very good device.

Cheers mate! I would go for X80 Pro personally. Cheaper and still with great camera performance and here in China, super cool software. I don't really want to ever spend over $1000 on a phone so the Honor would be an unnecessary expense

@Michael Elsegood :The macro photography mode sensor uses the 64 megapixel wide angle lens (if I understood correctly) on the "Honor magic pro" version when taking a photo in macro mode, the final photo resolution is 3072 X 4096 pixels = approximately less than 13 megapixels. Could you tell me the result of the resolution, on the ultimate version?

I got the magic 4 pro. So sad the ultimate wasn't released globally because it looks stunning from the back. I'm guessing the camera will be improved with software updates.

Wow, the video camera with that lutz effect looks pretty amazing. But the stabilizer performance kinda ruin it a bit for me. & I would not buy the phone because of the pricey price. I would expect with price like that it should at least perform a near perfect experience especially in the camera department.
I didn't realize but there was actually a 4K mode for the movie lut mode 🍿 but yeah the stabilization was not great but it was very dark.

Absolutely not sorry. Only through some rubbish emulator that is not really worth it.

China versions of Honor phones don't come with GMS.

Snap Gen 1 has a problem that is heating problem.
Really? I haven't experienced it on all of the Gen 1 phones I've tested this year.
I’m not too sure with the gaming performance here. No 8 Gen 1 chips without active cooling can sustain 60fps in Genshin. Please make sure you test areas other than domains as those areas draw significantly less wattage than open world areas (8 Gen 1 is a horrible thermal nightmare requiring o pull up to 13 watts to achieve 60fps which is unsustainable for the thermal design of non-gaming centric devices).

Dimensity 9000 is best chip for gaming not snap 8 gen 1...
Well, this was the smoothest running devise I've ever used up till now so it must be pretty good in the right hands
