      I have done most of these. Just be careful with the box idea, cords and certain electrical boxes get warm and a fire could happen. I absolutely love your carpet idea! Never heard that one before. Great ideas, thank you 😘

    Love the idea using the box to hide the router & cables. I went to homegoods when I was in America last November & it was AMAZING!!! I bought loads & got it shipped back home lol best shop ever! Love the idea with the rug & I'm gonna try it out on the one is spare room as its cheap & constantly moves which is so annoying! I'm too afraid to do it on my living room rug as it was really expensive. Love the video Sharrah 👍

    Have to say don't dry your makeup brushes standing like that, the water goes down the metal part and ruins the glue causing bristles to come out. Dry them flat or bristles down

    • @sharrahrobeson
      @sharrahrobeson 9 років тому +5

      Yes, totally right! Usually I wash them and lay them flat to dry out for a few hours but then Im so worried about them falling on the ground and getting dirty (I have a VERY small bathroom counter haha) so if they are still slightly damp I stand them up in the holder! Thanks for your comment :)

    The box for hiding your router etc. is a great idea but at the very least the heat that will build up in the box isn't good for the router (heat's an enemy of electronics). I'd cut most of the back off of the box & leave it sitting an inch or two out from the wall.

    Please don't put your router in a box!!!! Routes, cable boxes, and all other electronics need to be able to get fresh air in order to not potentially overheat. If you /have/ to hide it, then cut out as much of the back of the box as possible and do not put it directly against the wall, but instead give it a bit of breathing room.

    My favorite is the decorative box hiding all the "workings" necessary for this day and age of electronics. I'm all about hiding all my electric cords with plants and decor items as much as possible. My only concern would be to make sure the back side of the box had sufficient air circulation so the electronic device(s) don't overheat.

    You should never dry your brushes upside down, because all the water goes will go under the metal part and in the woody part...
    I would make a bigger hole behind the box for the roouter, because those appliances usually heat pretty strong...
    I use clips (like big paper clip) to sort my cables, love it!
