Hello all, In Today's video I take the mighty GR Yaris around Oulton Park to see what the fuss is all about. I'm happy to report it exceeded all of my expectations and is a serious bit of kit! Genuinely amazed by how capable this thing is right of the box! The car still a lot to give even in greasy conditions! If anyone is in the market for hot hatch, I'd strongly recommend to have a go in one of these!

Live Oulton Park, I'm just down the road so love to go whenever I can. Done the M4 Masters event there and loved it. Don't think I will track my OG M2 Manual though. GR Yaris is a little beauty. Had you mate done the seat fix to lower it as I believe the standard seat rides very high.
It’s a great track isn’t it. Yes it has had the lowering kit too. Really makes a difference

From the scream of the engine, you can see how the apex one has been over revved a few times. Gearing seems a little short. Megan RS was a bit like that too.

They’re just great aren’t they! I wouldn’t be brave enough to take a bike round
@@realtorque the benefits with bikes is they’re race ready out of the box. So they feel much more comfortable than a car on track.
That said, being on track in/on anything is brilliant 🤩

I've read all the hype on these and seem to be spec ed well. But never seen one impress me out on track. What times was it pushing around Oulton?
They are really good on track. Not of course the fastest in a straight line, but turn in grip in and out of corners is brilliant and the brakes are very good. I didn’t actually tone it. I’ll have a look at a full lap on my footage!
Can you do the supra or lancer evo next? We need some JDM

Yes they do, but has been turned off. You can see and hear we’re manually doing it on this occasion
