Not necessarily imported vehicles.... All vehicles used by Embassies and Consulates have blue number plates.
Embassy & Consulates additionally have stars on the plates I presume..

2 corrections:-
1. All armed forces vehicles (which belong to MoD) will have Arrows. Private vehicles of armed forces personal will have normal number plates only - either as per state or BH.
2. Red plates with Lion emblems have been discontinued (soon after removal of red becons) and now all vehicles will have normal plates only. However some states might still be continuing it. But you will normally not find red plates with emblem in Delhi.
RED with Ashoka Embelm is not for political people ji its for GOVT of INDIA authorised chair persons (esply President & Vice President and their officals )

NOC is valid for 11 months. Also, all southern states (TN, KA, KL, AP, TS) do not allow BH registration for anyone (KA allows it for central govt employees). The states consider this as a loss towards otherwise lumpsum road tax collection.

You can apply for BH registration.
There are certain criteria to obtain this.
1. The employer or the office where you work should have a minimum of 5 branches across India.
2. Download form 27A, fill the relevant details.
3. Obtain a work certificate from your employer, clearly indicating that they operate in 5 states.
4. Enclose those forms and relevant docs and submit to RTO.
It's that easy.
Now you go get your BH registration..

False. Many friends in my circle with business background with operations in many states have BH registered cars. They travel with no issues. In 2022 itself all states and union territories in India have accepted BH registration after negotiations. Now it is done and dusted, and already in operation.

@@Barathnarayanan not applicable to South Indian states escape KA allows it for central govt employees, and Puducherry allows it with some strange regulations. However you are free to get it from any state which provides this and drive it through India.

Once I tried to get the BH but declined by Karnataka RTO, Mysore

There is heavy revenue loss for state government, hence TN government is not willing to implement it.

No you can save if you are registering through BH. Because upto 10 lakh RTO is 8% and above 10 lakh it is 10%. When comparing it to tamilnadu which is charging at higher % . For example tamilnadu is charging minimum RTO percentage of 12% for cars less than 5 lakh. If it is more than 10 lakh to 20 lakh RTO will be 18%. So you can save if you register through BH 11:43

I have bh registered bike, I am working in private company based in maharashtra. When u buy the bike in BH passing, road tax will not be included in bike price. It will be divided and you have to pay two years once the divided amount

I have a car with KL registration, i used to travel from KL to TN and vice versa after lockdown since i am an IT professional with Hybrid WFH option. What would be your suggestion on this? I use this vehicle 75% in TN and 25% in KL. I belong to Kanyakumari district.
Be it still you can drive without any change. If you are not travelling then it's better you change it . Ofcourse it's your call.

Sir is there a way we can fix HSRP/IND number plate in TN for the vehicle registered before 2019? I'm using my TN vehicle in Karnataka with normal stickered number plate and here it is going to be mandated soon for IND number plates. I have NOC from TN RTO already but number plate is my problem.

Total value is 15%, then depending on The age of vehicle, you will get further discount. I got civic and paid 43k + 3k that's it. Don't go by driving school agents, contact the RTO agents directly.

If a individual who doesn’t eligible to use BH VEHICLE (civilian, a persons’ organisation or company doesn’t exist in 4 states) offered to buy BH vehicle as a used vehicle, can he use it with the existing BH number plate or he has to re-register to the respective state he lives?
If u change the owner's name Re-registration is required or form-60 ( 4 state/UT) company GST no details need to submit for further BH benefit purpose
