It's funny to think about too On one hand Chipp has such amazing mix-ups that it absolutely fucks up a huge hitbox character like Potemkin who already struggles against other rushdowns for the same reason but even more so in Chipp's case But on the other Chipp's reduced health pool means that even the Potemkin farting in his general direction will kill him instantly, so if the Potemkin is allowed to touch Chipp EVEN ONCE, the match is over with Chipp in a fucking hole in the ground
@@sengudejanang7145 nah you have a thing called guts that reduces damage dealt to you, reducing the damage more and more with the lower your health goes, chipp has very little damage reduction, this is worse in this matchup because you have the lowest damage reduction at high health values, and chipp has almost no reduction so he almost face tanks the full dmg value
@tillburr6799 guts does reduce the damage you take, however it only takes effect at low health. There is however a damage multiplier that is used to determine how much a damage character takes.

My random little theory as to why there are so many "Chipp mixes Potemkin to 1% HP and them Potemkin kills Chipp" is that due to Potemkins increased health pool, Chipp players aren't used to having to deal so much damage, so they slow down while the Potemkin has little health remaining, allowing the Pot to bust

All characters in gg have 420 hp, but it's just that chipp takes MORE damage from the same attack (the hp difference is actually damage multiplier)
