They made a statement about the original report not meeting their required "standards". You can read that as "We accidently reported some facts that didn't fit the mandated narrative"

This whole story is so bizarre to me. A news correspondent doesn’t have the power to control what does or doesn’t air. Strikes me that there was some larger issue happening and they flubbed the timing or something.
