Why would I lie? I can show you the raw footage I got with these lenses to see how sharp they are. If somebody had a bad result with them maybe they tested it on the wrong camera.
Not only Arthur, Jason Morris also. In addition, I mentioned the auto focus issue on Sirui ads. They confirmed the bad focus was correct but they will fix it in the next update firmware. So how do you get the new firmware sooner than the others?
ua-cam.com/video/vfF3xX09HlA/v-deo.html just watch my full review and see for yourself how the autofocus works. I'm not baking Sirui up but don't spread false information if it's not the case. These lease actually perfom good, of course it's not G master autofocus level but it's not the g master price as well so for people who are looking for a more affordable option with good perfomance I think these Sirui lenses are actually very good. @@TeePham
He’s paid by Sirui. In his full review he doesn’t announce a disclaimer so it can’t be trusted. Funny how out of all the reviews, the one who doesn’t have a disclaimer and therefore supported by the brand, magically finds them sharp. I guess everyone else is wrong! 😂
Sigma 16,30, and 56 are superior than these in every way. Sharper, way less fringing, weather resistant and price point are about the same. Sigma Wins.
@@duyhungphannguyen3049 That's if you're comparing the Sirui Snipers against the Sigma Art line. But Sigma also has a kit of 16mm, 30mm, and 56mm Contemporary lenses for around $60 more that stomps all over the Sirui. The Siruis are better cine lenses as the chromatic aberration produces a cool look in video, but for photography, the Sigmas are sharper, have better autofocus (even after updating the Sirui's) and have less chromatic aberration. But if you're looking for a cine lens, why get the Sirui Snipers over the Sirui Nightcrawlers. They Nightcrawlers cost the exact same, but have teeth on the focus and declicked aperture rings...
😍 I wish we could see as well the same move from Mitakon S35 T/1 Primes Lenses with AF soon!! That would be great!!! But, obviously, with more sharpness and details at wide open f/1.0 (T/1) 🤦
Sigma, and even the cheaper viltrox lenses beat the shit out of these things, please dont throw your money away. Save up and get a viltrox pro 27mmf1.2, beats these things in everyway and beats actual 1st party glass in some ways
Unfortunately not. I was looking the same. But this because they have autofocus, canon forbids autofocus third party lens 🙄. If was manual focus, then Sirui made for RF mount.
Yeah they paid a lot of youtubers to give these good reviews. Luckily I found a couple real UA-cam reviews that gave the correct breakdown of these and they're not great, yet
Dont get this if youre doing photos. Get this if you're mostly doing videos. Af i mediocre and its soft - its a nightwalker with af , optical performances are the same - even the dissasembled optics are the same.
I have noticed in reviews people on UA-cam seem to have issues with softer lenses that are common to cine lens lines because they are used to laser sharp g masters. I haven’t owned the snipers and am not sure how soft they are but I am interested in trying them eventually and getting them if I like them. Definitely a lens series aimed towards a budget film and narrative type of cinematography, not the clinical g master UA-camr look. I totally understand the bokeh fringing is debatable on whether that’s just poor construction or a tasteful vintage look, given plenty of other higher end detuned lens footage I’ve seen still have much less fringing on the bokeh. It’s open to debate. I have seen reviews that show that fringing is only really prominent at the T1.2-2 range and it cleans up nicely above that.
@@owenjenkinsofficialwhy do people have a problem? Because they marketed this as the stills lens and the nightwalkers as the cheap cine ones, we can understand the poor IQ on nightwalker because its apparently cine, but this? Nah, its gonna be torn to shreds for the absolute dogshit IQ
Siruisly Cool Lenses
Dude, nice
I am waiting for Sirui to produce these in RF mount. On my R7 they would be like a 37mm, 53mm, and 90mm.
guys he's lying, check Arthur's video about these lenses they are not sharp and have bad autofocus 🤨🤨🤨🤨

Just one question: Do they have weather resistence feature? Hope you will reply, thanks.
Probably no, they are not expensive
It’s actually 56mm for the final lens, just clarifying for anyone doing the math and only getting 82.5mm full frame equivalents.
54mm
Sorry 84mm
I have Sigma Art lenses for good sharpness and I’ve just purchased these for more of a creative film like look…
Wow good bokeh. I wonder how it compares to sigma quartet
Quartet? I know only trio
Sigma is superior; less fringing, sharper and weather sealing. Sigma wins in every round.
