I continue to be amazed by your ability to not only operate the machinery while filming with the hand-held cameras, but clearly you're operating the drone now as well. Phenomenal footage, and well edited. Thanks for providing such consistently great content !
All that work to feed the cows. I enjoy the tranquility of working the farm. I bet all that work can be tasted when the BBQ is fired up and the fork and knife begin the recycle of beef or pork into our bellies. Thanks Pete and Hilary.
Hey Pete! I just wanted to thank you for inspiring us to work on our own homestead and for teaching us so much about the farming lifestyle! My mother and I always watch your videos, and we love them! I hope you and your family continue to be blessed and healthy!
Wow the tractor looks great. Must be very gratifying. Love the drone footage. Gives a good look at the scale of what you are doing. Looking forward to raking and baling. The mechanics of the process are fascinating. Thanks for giving us a peek into what a farmer has to do to put food on the table.
I wish I had the mechanical knowledge to work on my own tractors, thanks for the time to watch your old tractors at work … and just purr like they were meant to.
I love your videos for all the details you let us see. I’m more aware of the value of our farmers because of these videos and appreciate all the hard work farmers do to provide food for our tables.
Ahhhh... I wish there were smellevision, I love the smell of fresh cut hay! My allergies, not so much, lol. Year after year, I just love the videos of your farm, how it changes from season to season, and how it's predictable in rhythm, but it's not! With new characters and adventures and oopsies to make the day interesting! And that tractor looks stunning!
You sir are an amazing man. I’ve been struggling with depression and anxieties after covid working in ICU. Your videos of the farm have really helped me to see the good in people and the hard work we all do. I’ve been working with my grandpaw here in Northern Ireland pulling out all the vintage machinery and implements and restoring them for use. Can’t wait to see the next video. Have a blessed day.
I like your farmall MD I like older tractors that are diesel you did a nice job restoring it. I'll bet your dad is so tickled, and very proud of you. I sure do like the sound of it, and watching it work.
These videos are outstanding on many levels. You are a great teacher and I love your work ethic as well as knowledge of many topics. Thank you. John C. Binghamton, NY
Love seeing the MD working. I enjoyed watching you rebuild it and I know it is satisfying to be able to work it. Really enjoy all your videos Pete. Thanks for sharing.
Pete Fantastic job on making the MD new again! I never realized how hilly your land is. Fun to see the repairs and go along on a ride to Tedd hay! Thank you so much makes a great start to my day!😄
Seriously, how satisfying is it to be running that MD given its history, your sweat equity, how gorgeous it turned out, AND how nice the weather looks…. That’s gotta be some of that warm fuzzy kind of feeling. 😆
I'm learning so much about grass and pasture management. Thank you for the videos on hay, grass and the equipment for making hay. More equipment videos please!
You read my mind, on last video when you were cutting I saw that beautiful tractor all dusty and was thinking, he can't do that to that tractor, can he? Keep on smiling.
Driving around in circles on your shiny red tractor making that wonderful smelling hay....I am soooo jealous...Thanks for the great video...so soothing.
I’m only 21 but growing up I worked all the time on a close family friends farm. I wish I could still be doing this type of work in the summer! Thanks for the video Pete!
Ok I’m sure I am in love with your Farmall MD! Great video seeing the tractor and tedding from all angles. Beautiful footage. I’m sure raking and baling will be great as well no matter which tractor you use.
Something relaxing about watching these video's. . I would love to experience doing that type of work.. I'm a Carpenter by trade but always enjoy being around things "country"
When my late father and I still worked the dairy farm we had a wheel drive tedder. A few times I would run it hooked to our old Farmall H,I sure do miss those days. Thanks for the vids Pete. 😎
Good Day to you Pete! Love the videos! That hat may look goofy but it's way better than having skin cancer. I have a friend at work who is a big time hay farmer and he just had 30 stiches removed from his chest after having a skin cancer removed. I have a hat just like yours that I wear in the summer too. The old MD looks and sounds great! You did a top notch job restoring her and I know what a great sense of accomplishment you must feel while making this video. Keep up the good work!
Excellent video Pete :) reminds of my days farming doing raking hay plus straw from 8:00am to 8:00pm 1 hour from 12:00pm to 1:00pm lunch and 5:00pm to 6:00pm supper ! I used 1968 International 624 60 hp Desiel motor without a Torque Converter used low range in 4 gear or tuff stuff high range in 1 or 2 gear and RPM 1500 only needed! Tractor pull a New Holland #56 rake do about 35 to 60 acres day and enjoying it ! Also my one neighborhood neighbor Bill got me do straw rake in 2007 to 2015 years and used his 1945 Farmall H basic gas row crop and New Idea rake it 4 circle beater like yours and small lawn tractor tires no hydraulics or PTO to just wheels turn it !
Hey Pete. I think that your channel showing that small ranches (protein producers) can be stewarded in ways that are productive and ethical. I think that you do far more good than you realize against the preceptions of farming animal abuses. Your practicality of the animal's life and i'ts purpose (which in your case is to feed people) is important for people to see. Good Animal Husbandry is Important for People to See. Thank you.
love the MD. I have a 1951 MD. It runs well but needs some TLC. I watched you rebuild it. May need to reach out for some advice once and awhile when i start restoring mine. thanks for the videos.
Truly amazing watching you cut to say was something that is less than modern. I love listening to the sound of your tractor running and hay tetter? is that the correct word? Really a cool machine. I lived in Marion Kansas very close to Emporia Kansas north east of Wichita and there were Amish people there who still were cutting hay with their old fashion he wrecks and pulling it with a horse Drawn Cutter…I’d pull over to the side of the road and watch him and every now and then he crack the whip up in the air But it was So wonderful to see him using the original farm equipment!! My grandfather had something similar to what you have and I just love going down to Watch him at a time… However I had asthma, and still do, and I couldn’t be out there for very long but there’s just something artistic about the equipment and the process in my opinion! Thank you for making these videos and still taking pleasure in doing it the “old fashion way”… it truly looks like you’re enjoying yourself and by the way, I like your floppy hat😊♥️♥️♥️♥️
PS: it brought back great memories watching your shift the gears on this old tractor… I just ride with my father as a little girl and I would watch his feet and legs move and succinct as he shifted gears, & it was SO WONDERFUL❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ thank you for that great photography work!
Wow, does this ever bring back memories of my growing up years on a small farm in Northern Wisconsin. I spent a lot of time on the tractor racking hay and baling for my Dad. I had 3 older brothers but can’t remember why I was always doing it. I must have liked it 😊Thank you
Hi Pete, I think this is the third hay season I am watching now, I never want to miss you on any seasonal work. I find it all interesting as there is always a different machine or you are considering a change to last year depending how the rainfall is going, or how the pasture is growing. Thank you. Dave.
Love the aerial views, really adds to the perspective. Your area looks beautiful and so does that hay. Hope the weather stays good, have a great fun day making hay.
Hey Pete i like the new direction you have picked for the channel! The quality, content, and editing is on a whole new level! Good for you!!! Keep up the hard work! Its great to see you and the old red girls working!
Yes you are pushing me back to all most 70 years when I got to operate the H or M don't remember now on the side rake I was just 12 or 13 thanks for the memories.
I love the sound of the transmission, rear end and engine when you put it in road gear and let out the clutch, launching forward as the big tires get 100% bite on the pavement.
Pete, this was so cool. Us city folk don't always know what you guys do for like hay. I can just smell the hay and sunshine. Your tractor sure looks good. I love your OH State shirt. Go Bucks! Janet 🐔🐔🌻🌻🐮🐮🐃🐃☕️☕️✌️✌️
What an enjoyable day helping you! We wore similar hats to help prevent the sun eating up our skin. I think we did a nice job tedding. Can’t wait to help make hay bales.
I love watching the old iron working. All of my equipment is well seasoned and years ago I had a young man helping me and he was commenting on the old equipment, comparing it to the new equipment of another farmer he worked for. The difference? Of course the new equipment might be faster but in exchange for the debt, I'll go a little slower.
Absolutely love the sound of the MD. Had one on our dairy farm and I miss her. Spent many hours in the seat. It was always fun to hit road gear with a load on. The smoke trail was epic.
I've been waiting for spring for your Upstate lush beautiful green pastures ; and watching you cuttiing and raking the hay field. Thank you for taking me along on your & Hilary's farm life videos!
I continue to be amazed by your ability to not only operate the machinery while filming with the hand-held cameras, but clearly you're operating the drone now as well. Phenomenal footage, and well edited. Thanks for providing such consistently great content !
I was going to say the same! Ditto!
All that work to feed the cows. I enjoy the tranquility of working the farm. I bet all that work can be tasted when the BBQ is fired up and the fork and knife begin the recycle of beef or pork into our bellies. Thanks Pete and Hilary.

The drone footage really does help give us an idea of the size and scope of the task! It's such a beautiful area of NY where he lives.
Mr Pete I love ❤ the way farm and God bless you and your family the you and your family farm 🚜 the way I was raised
I wish I had the mechanical knowledge to work on my own tractors, thanks for the time to watch your old tractors at work … and just purr like they were meant to.

Very relaxing and calming for your viewing audience or at least me, but alot of work for you. Thanks for all of your effort and great videos.
Your dad must love seeing the ole tractor redone and working! It is a joy to me to see restored equipment being used for more than parades.
These last couple of videos have looked great and been presented in the usual warm manor we are used to. Love it.
I love your videos for all the details you let us see. I’m more aware of the value of our farmers because of these videos and appreciate all the hard work farmers do to provide food for our tables.
The MD has a distinct sound idling and rev'd up working. Close my eyes and its long ago. Love it!
Love it, Love it, Love it! So many great camera shots and drone footage shots! Great to see mechanical workings done on a farm. God Bless!
Hello my friend and welcome to you for a beautiful and always happy day for you and your beautiful family
Pete that MD looks great and really sounds good. Love those old Farmalls.
Love the drone footage Pete. You can see just how good the Hey Tedder fluffs up the hay. Looks to be a good hay harvest.
Ahhhh... I wish there were smellevision, I love the smell of fresh cut hay! My allergies, not so much, lol. I so love the sound of the tractor when put in high and release the clutch. Fond memories 🥰
I like the sound of road gear also.
I like your farmall MD I like older tractors that are diesel you did a nice job restoring it. I'll bet your dad is so tickled, and very proud of you. I sure do like the sound of it, and watching it work.

Can’t wait to see the footage from raking and baling…..keep them coming mate….they’re outstanding….!!👍👍
I kept waiting for the funk music to start up. I mean what is more funky than cutting, tedding & bailing hay? I'm gonna jump back and kiss myself!!
Seriously, how satisfying is it to be running that MD given its history, your sweat equity, how gorgeous it turned out, AND how nice the weather looks…. That’s gotta be some of that warm fuzzy kind of feeling. 😆

Nice seeing the MD in the field. Love the drone footage!

Ok I’m sure I am in love with your Farmall MD! Great video seeing the tractor and tedding from all angles. Beautiful footage. I’m sure raking and baling will be great as well no matter which tractor you use.
Great looking tractor! Watching the video was like a step back to the past when the Farmall M was the biggest tractor and life was much simpler.
Beautiful drone footage! Nice shirt also. Older farm equipment has a wonderful sound!
The MD looks amazing! Great job with that.
Adding the drone adds a different demention to what you're doing in the field. Great!
I do love the comedy of your intros, such a nice break from all the standard intros I see
Brings back memories. Thanks for letting us ride along.
Oooh.. goodie, goodie, goodie 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 I'll be able to watch this one over again. .I love that deep engine sound of the MD. Cheers, Pete👍😁
Just cut my hay yesterday. It's a ton of work but always really satisfying. Thanks as always Pete!!
Something relaxing about watching these video's. .
I would love to experience doing that type of work.. I'm a Carpenter by trade but always enjoy being around things "country"

Appreciate the tractor therapy at the end of my work-week.
The pleasure we derive from your field work is what keeps us going , if Pete likes it so do we , Thanks Pete ❤️🇨🇦
Always a pleasure to ride along with ya Pete. That MD is a little jewel of a tractor. And it's the right color too.
Pete, the drone shots with the HD footage look great! Can’t beat the shiny MD out there in the field either.
That is one beautiful tractor working on a beautiful farm! Nice camera work and editing, too!
