I thought that started in Tekken 2, what with their 2+4 suplex throws also being different while being the same in T1 (though AK only has the jaguar piledriver from it). I ought to play more T1.

He has that exact same broken move, combined with a wavedash, both of the Mishima Style uppercuts, and the infamous Giant Swing. The original Leroy Smith, albeit with some execution required.
My second favourite character to play from the original. Never understood why he had Kazuya's moves. Amazing death combos by the way. Can't believe he was based on Eddie Guerrero's incarnation of Black Tiger.
People could argue that Armor King was stronger than King in this game. Armor King has the broken df+1 like King, but he also had the wavedash and the cd+1 and cd+2 like the Mishimas.
He also had the Mishimas special move the dragon uppercut which both Heihachi and Kazuya had and that was Kazuyas special in this game so it was cool they gave it to Armor King too and that made him the 2nd best character. In the story he must have trained under the mishimas

Chain Lightning Uppercuts for days. I want to do the same thing, but Android has too much input lag - unlike the original hardware.
wavedash didn't exist in T1 as far as I know. It became possible in T3 together with the introduction of the ewgf.
Cd2 gives armor the edge. A single ch 1,2 and its a wrap.
