Here are five locations where you can camp for free in the Western U.S.

Just be sure to pay attention to the weather, as the routes leading to this camping area can be difficult to traverse after significant rain.

I'll be starting my own adventures next week with my 3 dogs. No UA-cam channel, just enjoying early retirement. These kinds of videos are super helpful. Thank you.
Happy and safe travels! Enjoy retirement, and let us know if there's anything you'd like to see in the future!
@@Campendium Thanks. Been searching your app plus have Boondockers Welcome.
The Newstates always provide top-notch videos and this is no exception! A HUGE thank you for always including information on whether the boondocking sites you find are big rig friendly. 👏👏👏
Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much, Lupe! You're the best! We love sharing the big rig friendly spots we find!
Way to go View/Navions. We have only stayed at 1 of 5 locations. Several other areas are on our list. So thanks for the suggestions!
Awesome! Let us know if you make it to any of them :)
you need to come to the East coast and find free/cheap campsites.... that would be worth watching
East Coast free camping is moochdocking off of friends that have houses in the area.
Definitely more challenging on the East Coast for sure! 😅
Love the Newstate Nomads! Thanks for sharing your great spots with us!
Thanks for watching!
Aww thank you Beth! 🥰 Happy to share these beautiful spots!
Sweet!
This is why I’m split between a Class C/B+ and trailer… finding a camping spot, then needing to uproot for tourist stuff 🤷🏼♂️
Thank you for a great video
🙋🏼
Thanks for watching!
Hey I know those two 👋🏼
😉👋
🙂
Free campsites are the only reason I use the campendium app. Why would you pay someone to sleep outside?
I remember the old way this was done just facts no fluff easy to watch no bs people. Your not me im not you , just facts please
thanks.
I gave it a thumbs down but then I gave all videos a thumbs down that talk about amazing camping places they've found but fail to give the coordinates as if they wanted to keep them for their clique, doesn't seem like it's in keeping with Campendium's normal videos that always give locations.
I agree, I looked in the description for coordinates or links and nothing 😕
Hey there! If you reload the video and check the description, you'll see they have added every locations listing and the GPS coordinates can be found on each campsites page 😊
Hi there! Here are all the listing links for the spots mentioned in the video. They are also in the description for future reference! Please let us know if you have any questions :)
