Yes absolutely it is. We have designed our system to be completely customizable. You can purchase a Quick Kit (laser cut kit with skins), You can purchase a Quick Kit without skins, You can purchase a Skin Kit and download our free plans, or You can download our free plans and decorate yourself (if wanted). My maiden didn't go so well yesterday. It was tail heavy. Normally these types of planes are balanced upside down correct?
Yes the HRC Seven is a short coupled airframe. Many factors can effect the CG of the bird. What size of battery are you using? and where was it located? We recommend that you use a 2200 3s and mount the battery on the firewall.
I ordered and built one and had a bad motor How are you supposed to replace the motor?
We are sorry that you had a bad motor. Was it one of ours? If so if you will email our team at support@thehangarrc.com and we will make sure that you get a new motor shipped out. If it wasn't one of our motors, we recommend testing all electronics before installing in the airframe. However if you use some Isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) and cotton swabs and are careful you should be able to release the hot glue that holds the power pod in. Then you can replace the motor.

on the straight edges tape a couple 1 2 3 blocks down onto the bench
and use them as a straight edge to hold the foam in place then slide the skin against the blocks then lower into place

The kits are pricey for just standard foam board
Go price out large format color printing and laser cutters, then tell me it's too much. When you consider the design time, printing costs, equipment costs to make, handling time to assemble and ship the kits, and then throw some meager profit on top of that... the pricing is very very reasonable. The cost of foam is only a small part of the cost of producing these kits.

Looks like a fun build. I went to your store and couldn't find the kit. I got the plans for a scratch build though. Great videos. Love the skins. I'd like to get a laser cut kit
