- I loved The Adventures of Mark Twain as a child, and the lamenting melancholy Pipe Organ really moved me. I decided to flush it out a little more and have a little fun with it. Here's the end result!

So a few days ago, Michijere77 challenged me to update and orchestrate my other favorite and beautiful piece from this film, so I tried my best to fulfill this request. Feel free to check out my 2020
homage to the Adam and Eve music from this film; specifically the "Garden is Lost - Valentine" section. Please let me know your thoughts.
Thanks again!

Good job!
@@matthewnienkirchen8083 Hey thanks for the feedback! I made both of these tracks using MIDI VST plugins. I don't have access to the type of recording equipment that I would need for this type of work; nor do I have the skills to play any of it live - it was purely a labor of love. I did the best I could using the tools I was able to use at the time. There are always ways I can improve though!
Awesomeness!!! 💖💖💖
I came across the mysterious stranger scene of this movie at like 3 am and became fascinated with this song
Same actually I first saw it like two days ago and I really like this song.

You find a lot of things interesting when you’re a torso with a arm and head
''Life is an illusion. A dream. Nothing saved empty spaces. And you are but a thought.''
Fame is a vapor the only earthly certainty is that of oblivion
"Life itself is only a vision. A dream.
Nothing exists, save empty space and you. And you... are but a thought."
The fact that this small snippet of song has ingrained itself into so many of our lives.... that's the true power of music.

This song really captures the slow pain and redundancy of human life. Absolutely beautiful.
Spot on. Without a faith in something that is the only logical conclusion.
Wow! So deeeeeep!
@@josephstalin7743 The deeeeeep meme is meant to be used when someone says something to purposefully sound philosophical when in reality it's just bullshit.
However in this case, the song really *does* try to capture the, "slow pain and redundancy of human life" - because it's a piece of music inspired by the life of Mark Twain - famed philosopher who, at least for a while, believed in the redundancy of human life.
Please stop killing memes with usage for no apparent memes. The problem with overusing memes is that it kills their initial value, this making it a dead meme.
As such, I have no choice but to refer to you as a normie. You can change this claim by sending 1000 furries to the gulags.

This sounds like the organ equivalent of heavy metal
It has perfect timbre for that. I love it

Beautifully reimagined song. I personally loved the violin strings, it goes so well with the melody.

i figured out all the notes and chords and scored it on musescore. it turned out sounding surprisingly close to the movie version, although not exact of course. i put it on my soundcloud for anyone who wants to hear it there. at least on soundcloud you can put it on repeat when you're having a bad day lol. i don't know if there's a way to do that on youtube
Thank you so much for doing this!!!!!!!
I've been looking for this.
Thank you. Just thank you!
Dig it . Very cool adaptation. I've been searching high and low for the full soundtrack
If you wind up buying recent editions of the movie through Amazon, the DVD comes with bonus features (including the entire sound track). Twain's Lament is absent from it though.
Still, it also has cast interviews and the soundtrack. Just look for it on amazon.

I really hope tiktok doesn't find this song.
I've listened to this so many times it's insane. Though I now realise, nothing exists but you, and you are but a thought.
Ah yes, nice quote from the movie. We are not but a thought. We are breathing, functioning, coexisting beings who have fought for thousands of years to keep our species going. I’m so sick of this cringe mentality of “I’m an edgy philosopher and I see that humanity is worthless☹️”. Life is incredibly beautiful and the mere existence of a cognizant being is so cosmically, intensely rare and powerful that it’s almost unfathomable. The only earthy certainty is not “oblivion”, as we really don’t know what comes after death. It’s all speculation. Go outside and see the grass, smell the crisp air, the trees. Everything is worth much more than a thought
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The feeling college kids get when having to do assignments over night.
Love the bit where the organ grows mouths and starts chanting.
This song is beautifully haunting. In a way, it gives me Nintendo 64 vibes
I still wish i can find this song on spotify
What a beautiful work !
Only clearer voices in the end could make this better.

This would make a good blues cover
Has it ever been played on a big size pipe organ, like J S Bach Toccata and Fugue on the Baroque pipe organ? And are there a video of it. And who did create the original version of it.
