- In this retrospective I go over one of Roblox's Greatest Developers, Zkevin. The video covers most of his games in a date of creation order. This video is really important to me as I grew up playing alot of his games on Roblox, and now I finally have the chance to talk about each of his beloved games that he has made over the years. I also talk about the games that he has contributed too and the developers that worked on those games aswell.

i like how much effort you putted in to this vid. Kevin is really an unique person with his own perspective, humour and games that are different than most of the stuff you find on roblox

@pumpking6687 When SCC enters 1.3 the Red Cavern boss (the mixtape guy) will be released. After that they'll do the same for the green cavern, but it'll take some time. In the mean time though, Kevin has hired some new devs + administrators for SCC, so the Mixtape boss will be coming quite soon.

I discovered robot 64 yesterday while being forced to play with my little brother and I saw r64 in the recommended and I literally played for hours and stayed up all night even though I have work in the morning. I can’t explain how intriguing and fun that game is. I plan on 100% it when I get home. It has a n64 feel and look to it and it always feels like something is watching you from afar and despite that it’s just so fun. I loved the n64 games growing up in the early 2000s

You might not know this but polyhex was in the robot 64 discord during the time robot was still under contraction and gave feedback on the game. Their idea inspired the unused map grilled grest found in the test map

for an update on SCC, they made all your funny stardusts turn into cardboard stars. your ultra items are also turned into cardboard, because ultra magic was supposed to be a stupid joke

another cool appearence blamo has made was in a game called sonic pulse
you need to do a trial for unlocking him, and its sorta hard.
when you get the "aquamarine badge" of the trial, you can play as him on the game

Btw zKevin is one of my favourite developers on Roblox.
It might be a bit before my next video, mainly because im working on getting a new microphone and probably a new editing software. Probably should make a community post about that
i loved this vid alot! i wish i saw it sooner, its very in depth and i appreciate any criticism and would like to comment on some things in no particular order:
as u saw from bee's comment, SCC is being worked on a bit and has some aspects being somewhat redone and taking community ideas more into account. i havent been involved with their team but from what i witnessed it's been very promising to tap into that potential that SCC has and im very excited to see where it goes
robot 32's demo is quite barebones compared to the current product, its moreso of a "what you should expect" now than the actual game at this point as things such as movement and whatnot are being very finetuned with feedback (not to say tempos movement in the demo has been completely removed, its just been adjusted *alot*). robot 32 as a project has been going on for about 2 years now and id imagine our ultimate goal with it is to just release the best game to our standards after all of the previous projects that have been made
also sorry to ruin the what to expect next segment (spoiler alert) but alot of the games from our "direct" were april fools jokes that were either made in the moment or old scrapped stuff in the past. we've also made the "demo" to fricklet habitat public already and it will likely not receive any more updates. as to what to actually expect, the main team has been on and off working on robot 32 and have put in basically all our focus to that, SCC is also likely to receive some love soon by their wonderful team of people, and a road to grambys essentially "revival" update has been slowly worked on for the past few years, with sneak peaks shown in the direct and our discord! we also have 2 smaller projects that are not being worked on at the moment, but are on our minds (SCC mini being one of them, however the game itself is not actually SCC related sorry)
completely agree about CC's nostalgic feel, i always kinda got that from when i played the game back in its earlier phases even though it wasnt even old yet, it has such a nice charm to it thats hard to replicate and i wish it got to a more finished state. i also found it very funny that the maxxz review of the game was brought up, i forgot all about it lol. that was kind of an inside joke in the community at the time but i still loved seeing CC have that sort of recognition amongst the greater community, its what sparked this unique subset of roblox games essentially that dont really feel like roblox
small mention but games such as blamo, cleaning sim and the hub are heavily driven by community made content, and i believe cleaning sim is the only one that had a particular style for submitters to aim for with their npcs/builds. also yeah blamo is kind of a no purpose game LOL, iirc it does have some tiny lore points in it and it does fit into our "universe" but is pretty insignificant as could be assumed, it used to be one of my favs though when that released. love the cleaning sim segment aswell i believe it very well encapsulates what the game is/meant to be
this is a wonderful video and i hope to catch part 2 if it's ever made, seeing these games be talked about and seeing gameplay brought back many good memories and i hope that we can keep it going for years to come. its slowed down a lot lately but we've been making sure we make the best out of what we have and havent tried to crunch anything out at all. it makes me proud an extensive vid like this can be made about kevin, i know personally he works very hard on all of these projects and has a very deep passion for them and his friends. this community makes me proud and im very glad to have been a part of it for almost a decade now and to see things grow and make friends along the way, i hope in recent days and in the future people can still share that experience with his games, thank you

In Robot 32, you play as Tempo and Melody. Melody can roll, longjump glide, and grapple using her power cord tail and wallrun just like Beebo.

I have replayed this guy's games so many times, but I'm surprised i haven't touched Cube Cavern. you're making me want to play it badly, so i definitely will.
Robot 64 was an absolute classic too, to see that there's gonna be a new Sequel, or Prequel to it is amazing. already hyped for it.

ZKevin was, and still is my main Inspiration and one of the few reasons I still create ROBLOX Games, Im honestly glad to see someone document his fantastic work. You just earned yourself a new subscriber.
Glad to see my favorite game developer got more recognition!! Their games are so fun to play and it's one of my favorite ones so far and it never bores me to play roblox again hehe
i like these games because they remind me of the simpler days, days when stuff wasnt motivated by defx and microtransactions, the days when people were making original games for people to enjoy. when stuff had its own style, these are some of my main reasons for fondness of surrealism. doesnt even feel like roblox
Cube cavern is an amazing game that inspired many remakes of it that sre all beautiful and easy to play (for PC)

Should probably note something important that you didn't clarify in your video though: the Bribbleco Quality Corner video was a joke made for april fools, things like the blamo temple run game, the 2d cube cavern (wich was just a physic engine test made by Kevin btw) and the todd jobs cartoon are never coming out (except for Robot 32 and.. the Fricklet Habitat game for some reason (the one with the rtg characters) wich you can play right now)

Yo the vast majority of Gramby's gameplay is the private servers. Normal game for me isn't even fun but sandbox is one of my favorites.

I swear, im gonna cry soo much if they dont atleast but beebo onto a 3 playable character since the 2 playable character is that strange thing that idk the name, and if they dont put beebo as atleast the 3 playable character, put atleast a beebo referrence,or even the beebo's hat because beebo deserves it.
if i had a chance to experience his games for the first time again, i would take that chance without a second thought
i know im super late but one thing about super cube cavern is that for combat you can go in first person by pressing X and it makes combat way easier also the marksman badge makes all of your problems go away because it makes you always face enemies and i think the reason why the areas are randomly generated is because the game is much more focused on grinding items and trading with other players trust me if you stick to super cube cavern the game only ramps up once you get the halloween spool items (i forgot there name) because you can use them for very powerful items

if you didn't know, maxxz, the guy who did game reviews for roblox from 2011 - 2016, he was originally a user and then later intern that made a video series which is uh, really old if you remember it on his personal channel. he was doing software engineering, but then switched his major to video production, which he now does as his job

Since I was 9-10 years old I got to noitce first ever ro-bio game. Yoo know, there are many games where you infect robots or humans with viruses and see what is happening to them. Actually zKevin was the one who mad original game, but he closed it and deleted it for some reason so only remakes are available. Also I know there was a game where you just dance and after time you gain cash to buy first wooden clothes, then you can buy more fancy clothes for a bigger price.

Dunno if somebody said this but the reason why you can't find the original Cube Cavern by zKevin is because Roblox had an ''Experimental Update'' which basically broke most of the code the game had. They weren't able to fix it therefore they decided to shut it down. Other people did remake the game so, that's that.
