- Cathay Pacific Cargo's newest Boeing 747-8F B-LJN comes through the desert for a missed approach and touch n' go landing before heading back to Paine Field after recently being painted.

Too bad no airline is ordering it in big chunks...
The age of the jumbo seems to be over. The A380 isn't getting a lot of orders either. The Future seems to belong to the 777, 787 and the A350.
The time is definitely up for quad jets. They are just not as efficient as newer twin jet aircrafts.

The 747-8 is more economic than the 747-400 I think
One of their 747s goes from Guadalajara, Mexico to Achorage, Alaska. I see it fly over to the west of Tucson at around 40000 feet. on Sundays.

Testing the plane. Should be a while before we see more air show practice out in this area.

Boeing is right, the 747 is destined for the freighter market, although, later in its life..
