The term avionics, a combination of aviation and electronics, applies exclusively to atmospheric craft. If the craft is capable of space travel, it utilizes astrionics instead.
Only just now got around to listening to this one. It's a really relaxing sequence, and contains one of the elements of ASMR content that I really like: an ordered sequence of events that lead up to a final goal. Very nicely done. Question: at around 10:26 - "No ansible on board?" "Afraid not. Too expensive." Is this ansible a sort of instantaneous communications device, like the ansible used in the "Ender's Game" book series?
Yes, I meant for it to be an Ursula le Guin reference. I think it was her idea, originally, and then it was picked up and used by other authors as well.
