today im rewatching some videos here. have to say your voice is just amazing for helping me fall asleep it works even better than any sleep meds i have taken in the past and its healthier too may i ask what kind of accent you have? if at all because it sounds a bit like it

I think it's very easy to understand why people find these pretentious, as many of us probably began with as well. (although I think that tends to be the view of philosophy in general by many) They are undeniably quite crowbar'd into the game without gameplay benefit, and so people view it as trying to elevate the game to some heightened importance. As a result, people don't really give it much thought, often muting the game to ignore it. BUT- I REALLY don't think I'd love the game the way I do if these notes weren't in the game... I find it hard to put into words, but in all, it acts as a collective of philosophies, and to me, a representation of human thought. And in short, art, which I think unfortunately many don't like to attribute Video Games as, being too grandiose for what people think as being a simple medium. Maybe I'm attributing too much importance to a game, but it is a very unique experience, one that wouldn't NEARLY be the same without the dialogue here. And it helps me remember to love humanity.

Duo to sleeping disorders I have auditory hallucinations at night, which can make falling asleep quite the hassle... Most background noise, ambience or playlists start annoying me, or I start noticing the loop, or something else starts irritating me. But this? This has worked perfectly. I always fall asleep within the hour with no problem, and have amazing sleep afterwards without tossing and turning! :D

I may have listened to this video every night for the past year or two. I tend to alternate between Part 1 and Part 2. So relaxing and helps me fall asleep, imagining unexplored worlds.

Listening again...this sort of audio fills a certain appetite I occasionally have in the way of audio content... Lists and Descriptions of Things. It's hard to describe...but when I get the craving, audios like this one really hit the spot.

The chatter is a bit too low.

I love the slight synth in the background, the only other biomes you can hear it in are the Grassy Plateaus and Mushroom Forests, which are also peaceful biomes. The rest are just water noises.

I was also worried that my nanite levels were too high. They were making me so paranoid and irrational that I had scheduled a removal. Then the nanites reached my brain and repaired the fear centers in my amygdala. I'm not worried about nanites any more. Next week I'm getting my first injection of self-replicating nanites, so they'll never go away. I am so painfully happy. All I do now is cry.

The ambiance and sounds are fantastic but does anyone else have a thing were if you listen to birds you just can’t feel tired/sleepy? I dunno if it’s just a really weird fixation I have that makes birds just equal awake time or if it’s somehow normal and I’m over thinking it. This one is still for sure going in my chill out playlist though :)
