Yes sir buddy! Nothing like some good ole buttermilk fried chicken fried in a seasoned cast iron frying pan. That seasoning is everything throughout the chicken and especially on that skin that's crispy. I'm sorry but that well seasoned crisp skin is everything to me. Oh its so good.🍴

Being a Southern girl and was taught by my grandma how to cook at an early age, she always said if your chicken isn't seasoned through and through, you've wasted your time and made the dogs happy. She raised chickens for eggs, dinner and fresh vegetables from the garden. Everything was fresh and made from scratch unlike some of these modern generation cooks with everything microwavable.

I have been thinking about your fried chicken recipe that you posted previously. I heard on dr. Oz that adding cornstarch would help make it crispy but the lady on the show didn’t go into details, but your recipe clarifies how much I’d need to add. I want to do this when it cools off a lot little more because it’s kind of hot for me to be over the oven that long. This looks delicious!
Before I got a thermometer, I double fried my chicken (I still do) and I found the potato starch makes it crisper than corn starch. Oh, and AB ain't lied about letting it maranaid overnight, you gotta give that fried chicken the respect it deserve, I'm telling you. But what I'd like to see next is some gravy and biscuits from scratch.
