I have been combating some resolution quality issues lately but I have them all sorted out. A couple of videos from now should see a big upgrade on my channel. I hope you enjoy these Cache Valley Cuttys! Watch at 1080p.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I don't always get that privilege to sneak up and see everything in crystal clear water but it was a special place no doubt!
Great video Payton. When I dream about the perfect tenkara creek it is an exact match to the narrow, flowing sections of this place. There’s nothing like those browns/cutthroat exploding out from underneath that bank cover. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Thank you for your support as well. I am about to guide a small group of guys from Pennsylvania for the Utah Cutthroat Slam starting this weekend. This was our pick for their experience and it's almost as thrilling to experience our creeks through others first impressions as it is our own. If you ever come out here, I will put you on this exact spot. I also appreciate your tenkara journey as well! Future uploads are about to become much better quality as well to share a better POV of these wonderful places.
I always appreciate your valued time and passion for Cutthroat Hayden. Thanks for tuning in. Cache Valley is a drive I make minimal once per year and I was stoked to finally get my first cutty out of the mainstem of the Logan.
I love your videos! The only thing I think would make them better is if you would tell us what flies you are using and put a picture of them on screen . But either way, thanks so much for the videos!
That is tremendous feedback. You know what’s funny is I often think about that when I’m on the river and I just simply forget. Consider that something I’ll work on. I love it. Also, thank you so much for your support!
I know I’m new to your channel and have really been enjoying stumbling onto you. You may have said or written this before on why you don’t, but in your commentary I would like to know the fly you are fishing. Just curious, doesn’t mean it will work on my waters, but I have started tying Tenkara flies but I carry some of my regular flies as well. I have always liked soft hackles, so when I saw what the Tenkara fly style was, it hooked me even more, pun intended! Great video, enjoy this entertainment.
I love feedback and support like this!! Thank you for finding your way to the channel. I have gotten that feedback a lot lately so it’s something I plan to incorporate more into my videos. I have a few weeks of videos pre-uploaded and the detail to fly is not heavily focused on those so don’t think I have forgotten about this! It will be done! Video starting next week should be available up to 4K too for better viewing. Fly for this video was an orange perdigon, Brent’s Warbird, and a Purple Haze (my personal fav)
Thanks friend! I am using 3.5 level line (Dragontail) and the length is to the beginning of the cork. The tippet often doesn’t exceed the length of that cork. So overall line/tipper ratio is the exact length of the rod.
Awesome video! Have you fished with the softer replacement sections for that rod? Sorry if you’ve answered that already in another video I’m new to the channel
Hey friend. You can ask questions on any video anytime regardless if I answered it somewhere else. It's a great question. I have fished the softer sections once and I do own them. I featured it in a video but I don't think I highlighted it very well so I will be making an updated video later. I like them, but I already LOVED the Mizuchi regardless so I swapped back to the original blanks temporarily. Here is the video for reference. ua-cam.com/video/7LOuJfosWiE/v-deo.html

The intro scene is even cooler once you notice it's right after that exciting 13"er. What a fun day on some small water.

Fun session Skiddy.
Thanks buddy! 🙏
I really liked the varied waters you were fishing. The really narrow one reminds me of somewhere…
I bet it does ;)
That's awesome I fish one in ynp that is half that full of nice bookies, people drive by all day long
That’s the beauty of tenkara! More for us! 🥲
Sweet into clip!!
Thanks man! This is one of those videos that UA-cam shafted my resolution on via our text lol. Brents warbird for the win!
@@skiddyfishingI hardly noticed the quality. It's such a good video! I freaking love Brent's Warbird! It's become one of go-tos
Me too bro! Im gonna stock up at the fly tying expo this year.

Agreed. Show me the fly. I need to see the fly.
@mwevre1876 haha will do!!
Can’t explore any places like that in the east without being eaten by a gator. Lol😂 You guy hit some nice ones.
I certainly don’t envy that 😅🫣
