I was one of the original artists on the real project. You aren't far off on how it was built but a lot more went into it. The hard part is planning for no intersections. It was a client request and also caused many lighting issues if bottles intersected. The closer the bottles got to each other, they would scale down to accommodate for space.
Wow it an honor to see your comment on this. That was an amazing work by you guys and looking at the whole project I could definitely tell proper planning and work was put in to this master piece. Hey Kirt! May I ask how long the deadline was for a project of this scale? Even just a rough estimate would be awesome, i'm trying to work on efficiency at the moment.
Yo ! I came up how it was created. He used Mospline as a mask for cloner, then tweked some settings and it makes clones without intersections. I am also inspired his work and wanted to create something like in this tutorial, so I was trying to come up with this idea for 2 days.
